They are never turned higher than 1/6 volume any more, and that's with the volume in media player at 10% and system volume at roughly 1/3.

At full volume they are insanely loud, as in comparable to a PA system at a gig. I loved them as a teenager (got them when I was 16), and they were a blast during my time in uni halls. They're too powerful and too bassey for me now though (that's 2 10" subs on each), so when I have the money I'll look to replace them with something smaller and of higher quality.
