Refs like this can really cost you games. That illegal wheeling call ranks amoung one of the worst I've seen and got the Lions out off jail. Dreadful officiating.

Wow, really, the ref is the reason the crusaders are knocking on off their own line out, struggling with scrum and losing the collisions for the time being?

Attacking plays are developing slowly, and the lions are starting to work through some new patterns. I'd like to see us keep the ball a little more, rather than rely on the high ball for attack. Obviously they need to play from the right areas, but this aimless high ball is a Howley-Gatland tactic that I'm sick of seeing for Wales. Still think the Saders will be a typical NZ team who up the game at the 50 minute mark. Lions have had too much ball in the 22 without scoring. It's an issue and could cost this game against a lacklustre first half from the Crusaders.

Real shame about Davies going off but it may be a blessing in disguise to give Sexton and Farrell the chance to play together. That said, that would preferably be with them at 10 and 12 rather than 10 and 13.

Have you followed rugby long enough to remember the "lazy running" incident between Australia and New Zealand that warranted a yellow card, and has done, pretty much ever since? What AWJ did is a yellow card in literally every other single rugby match i have watched in the last however many years. It wasnt accidental, it was leading into a potential try-scoring opportunity, that is a yellow card.

NZ panel talking about the ref needing to be consistant, even with the Lions playing the better half. The commentators here also made a good point where the ref here, doesnt "coach" the game like SH refs. E.g. "roll away #6", etc.
