Wales - Barbarians FC (02/06/2012, 14:00)

Well I am in a bit of a pickle. I feel ashamed that I'd rather see a Barbarians side consisting of Shane win over my own country :( :( I must be lacking sleep!!

That back 3 is something tasty though, Welsh back 3 have their work cut out. Hopefully it'll be running rugby from everywhere!!

Ryan Jones on twitter was saying that Shane will have to stop scoring in his final matches.
I wish Shane didn't bow out against us, but Wales for me every time.

Mick O Driscoll did the same thing against Ireland the other day, mind you his career is not quite as decorated as Williams is;)

Hopefully this is a good game. It's a pretty inexperienced Welsh team so I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose to a pretty decent BaaBaa's team (certainly the best they've put out this series). Kicking from Biggar has got to be accurate, because that back three is lethal.

Still, Wales have a decent pack of forwards on show, with Rhodri Jones at tighthead being the biggest weakness (good player with tons of potential, but I'm not convinced he can make it on the tight).

Last chance saloon for Brew I feel. But this is a massive chance for him to finally show the Welsh public and management that he can actually cut it at this level, against quality opposition. I hope he can finally make that step-up, because he'd be a valuable player in a position we are lacking depth.

Gonna be odd seeing Shane on the opposition team. I hope he get's a try, but the BaaBaa's come up just short in a thrilling 90 point game.

We'll sort him out for you.............................either that or he will join one the most well known (nearly said best!!!) back line in the reserves in the Top 14...................Brew, Baby, Bosch, Caprice!!

Yeah good old Donald.......don't you just love him!!

Rolland missing things here and there for both sides.

Richie Rees try was shocking from Wales but a hand from Louw and an office Rees pounced.

Great first half - Wales' last attack was cracking, shame it was knocked on.

Turnbull has been dire. Gill started off well and then got himself yellow carded. Rhodri Jones is not a tighthead. Harry Robinson looks promising.

To be honest, I only saw Brew involved, through no fault of his own, twice and he made one good stop and started that last break really well!

I think the youthful Welsh will overcome the partygoers by the end of the second half...but hope to see a fantastic reception for Shane at the end and, hopefully, he will have swapped his shirt so he can parade in a welsh shirt?!

Agree. Agree. Agree. Agree.

Shingler on, James to tighthead and Jones to loosehead.

James Hook's kicking only goes well when the team is playing well.

Shame to see Rhodri Jones coming off for James. Wales already know what Gill can do, would've been better to see what Jones can do on his preferred side of the scrum.

Agreed.

I think they were always going to sub Jones for James because when James came on for the yellow card, Jones still stayed at tighthead.

Rhys Webb looks like he's been hitting the fake tan hard since the season finished at the Ospreys.

Can't take the boy out of Bridgend ...

EDIT: How Turnbull is still on the field amazes me.
