The graphics look a lot better than what i thought they would after watching the trailer. I'm really looking forward to this now. I also noticed the official Argentina crest which probably means they have the licence for them, even though it hasn't been announced yet. Hopefully more teams like Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and Japan will be licenced soon.

Fiji were playing with advantage so it went back for a penalty, that wasn't a conversion

The place kick was set at "hard" so the wind and skill of the kicker came into play in a big way (though Getofmeland managed to fluke a kick with Andy Sheridan....how, I'll never know!)
I managed to land most of my kicks in game

Good about the non conversion in the figi game, was a little worried I thought I saw the score go from 0 to 7 for figi after the conversion, would of it of hurt to let us see the replay, ha, ha just kidding, that is why I had asked could be the editing or I looked at it wrong. Thanks anyways, and thanks for answer the questions.
Did you guys use the rucking tactics on the fly, much, and what where your defensive options to the ruck and defense in general, I think this game is much deaper then we think.

As I said previously, we barely scratched the surface of what's involved. We're unlikely to know the extent until someone like Gay-Guy has had his teeth into it for a while.

What it was is that I didn't film the full match, I dipped in and out, so the score is actually 8 just after before I missed the try which came soon after the penalty

Certainly looked better in motion. Animations are decent even if the models look poor. Unfortunately I cant much see past the fact that it looks so much like 08 and the bee swarm like player positioning in relation to chasing the ball.Shame, but I admit parts were better than I thought they would be.

Looks very very good! Can definitely see the difference in ball-retention. Loved the final minuite poach by the fijian player, could prove to be a game winning techinque for online play. Very excited for this

You know, so many people complain that the animation looks alot like 08. Do people know what they are talking about?? I am hopeing that there is the variation in tackles that there was in 08. Any one that sees this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z6vjcw-sfo and thinks the animations are bad or not enough variations, I don't know what would make a good animation but I certainly like it, yes, at times it seems a little exstream or exagerated but I think you need a little of that for a video game, and I think the super man tackles have atleast been towned down some if not removed(Which is the only thing I saw wrong with previous tackle animations)(If you see at the end of the video you will see an awesome 2 man tackle(hopefully this is in RWC 2011) . Guys who have played the game can really say what there feeling is on that and what the feel of the tackle is. Now saying this, RC tackling also looks to be very good.

Well, i'm happy actually. Thanks for getting the video and reviews up and testing the game guys. It is Rugby 08/06 re-boxed really, but i do have to say they've made an effort with kits, the generic unlicensed ones looks as good as they can be really. The player names look thought out too. There are actual player names in the game as in real life, like Ropati, Bari, Vidiri, Naitoku etc from what i saw. Might be fun to make some historic rosters. Gameplay looks fun, the new parts look decent too. I'm sure i'll enjoy it, but they really do need DLC, preferably some licensed retro kits or modes perhaps, after the RWC has ended. It would have been very good to have had licensed historic RWC matches thrown in for a bit of variation.

As i have said from the start, copying R08 is fine, i liked that game, it just felt unfinished. A world club version with a full player and tournament editor would be my next hope for a game, with national teams of course, but say the top 14 in the world perhaps.

Looks nice but really is just rugby 08, the online will be good but single player will be a bore very quickly.

I'm quite pleased with that as I think the game looks good although it was hard to tell at times as the guy operating the camera gave the impression that he didn't know how to hold it still

I think my pre-order today is justified

I thought it was good - pretty seemless in execution when naming players (like: "Youngs on the break" rather than "That was a good break by......BEN YOUNGS etc.)

Looks ok I guess, certainly had alot higher expectations after so many people raved about it after having hands-on experiences. The "other" rugby game does look tons better though I'm afraid, although RWC2011 still looks like fun.

Yeah, sorry, I know I probably jumped to a conclusion a bit too quickly, but a question like his is usually meant sarcastically... Obviously I haven't played the game and Getofmeland knows it. Just saying.
