This is a clash between two quality teams who would probably have wanted to be in better positions at this stage of the tournament. After losses to the Stormers by Sharks and Cheetahs in Bloemfontein by the Brumbies last week both teams will be looking to get back to winning ways, the Brumbies to launch a desperate bid for top spot in the Aussie conference and the Sharks to get some points between them and particularly the Waratahs and Bulls who are breathing down their necks for that play-off spot and possibly catch up to the Stormers who are yet to tour.

With home advantage and a bye next week to look forward to, my money would be on the Sharks.

What the ******* hell is Plumtree doing with McLeod, Bosman and Terblanche?
Are we trying to throw this season away?

Don't think I'll risk any vDosh on this...

Even with Knock-on McLeod we should be able to beat the Brumbies. I predict 6 tries!

:(

Can't go to this game...

Hopefully we get a decent performance this week

Sharks to win this by more than 7, brumbies not on par this season.

I think this could be quite a close game. I like the look of the Brumbies backline with Giteau back at 10, and McCabe at 15, but would have preferred to have seen Ashley-Cooper at centre rather than Tyrone Smith (with Fainifo on the wing). Certainly a key game for both teams - a win to the Brumbies will keep their (relatively slim) playoff hopes alive, while a Sharks loss may see them drop out of the top 6 (depending on other results).

Oh for ****'s sake...
The match so far for the Sharks:
-Lose our first two lineouts
-Spend more time in their 22 than they have spent in our half
-Bosman throws a stupid offload into a Brumbies forward's hands, five meters out
-Go from one meter out of their line to a turnover; not following through on the kick which stays in; Brumbies wing catches it, uses a 8 on two overlap to score.

0-13.

Saying that we have been absolute shite and one dimensional is too good for these players

Some truely dire stuff from the Sharks, we are gonna get another pummeling when we play the Bulls
I really am not seeing what McLeod is offering at the moment, he is butchering the most opportunities by doing kamikazi runs and throwing long passes to individual players, rather than readily arranged pods

There is energy, but it is just adding to the problem, as now they are rushing up and fracturing our defensive line, fooking headless chickens, the lot of them!

34-16 final score.
A win but it didn't feel like it.
Anyone else think Adi made a big difference when he came on? Sharks looked solid in the last 20.

Anyway... Bye week then, hopefully Kankowski fit and then we need to take on our conference rivals. Up to fifth on the table I think.

Yip, Adi made a big difference when he came on

poor, poor Meyer Bosman, I think every shred of confidence has been taken out of him, he tried to redeem himself by going for the try-line instead of passing for a certain try in the first half.

Now for the bye, 4 points and a return to winning ways after the break could see us be top of the SA conference by the end of next week Saturday...

Hah!

:huh::mellow::(

Topping the SA conference will go to the team who deserves it more, whichever way it goes we need to get behind that team come knockout stage. Glad the sharks won against the Brumbies it keeps them in the hunt and makes things more interesting which shows the Stormers that they need to keep on winning if they want to stay on top. At least my prediction was spot on in this matchup.
