It seems like this is the only place the Rebels ever manage to pull out a good performance, but at least they do it with style. Their home games are important to them and they've played some great games here. They lost convincingly against the Waratahs last week in what was a game that provided them with 9 points from the boot of Huxley.

Reds had their record run of wins dashed last week by a particularly poor performance against the Hurricanes. This week, both Ben Daley and Digby Ioane have returned from injuries into the starting squad. The Reds will be looking to their key playmakers of Genia and Cooper to step up this week after they retreated into their shells somewhat against the 'Canes as Cruden played more of the stylised rugby we're used to from the Reds number 10.

Rebels:

1. Greg Somerville
2. Ged Robinson
3. Laurie Weeks
4. Alister Campbell
5. Hugh Pyle
6. Hoani Macdonald

10. James Hilgendorf
11. Peter Betham
12. Stirling Mortlock
13. Mark Gerrard
14. Lachlan Mitchell
15. Julian Huxley

17. Nic Henderson
18. Adam Byrnes
19. Tim Davidson
20. Sam Cordingley
21. Cooper Vuna
22. Afusipa Taumoepeau

Reds:

2. Saia Faingaa
3. James Slipper
4. Rob Simmons
5. James Horwill (c)
6. Scott Higginbotham
7. Beau Robinson
8. Radike Samo
9. Will Genia
10. Quade Cooper
11. Digby Ioane
12. Mike Harris
13. Anthony Faingaa
14. Luke Morahan
15. Ben Lucas

Rebels look much worse going forward without Cipriani at 10 - they may have a slightly better defence without him, but does that matter if they're not going to score any points?
Reds by 20+

Agree 100%. Reds should take it easy, but you never know with the Rebels...

Woeful defence on display in this match - then again it is SupeRugby, so what did I expect?

I joke, I joke :p

bloody hell, more p*ss poor defence from the rebels - Cipriani may be a poor tackler but he organises the defence much better than whoever is "bossing" at 10 tonight, absolutely dreadful

Got to admit the refereeing has been poor, Bryce has missed quite a few decisions.

Consilation try for the Rebels on the 76 min, almost thought the Ref scored that one the way he fell on the whitewash.

Can't say that the Rebels did not deserve it mind.

Also Rebels need to find a kicker when Cippers is not there.

Yes the Rebels deserved that try, fulltime sees the Reds walking away with a win and almost everyone wining some vCash.

Surprised that they don't use Mortlock for kicking, or at least try him when the other kickers are having a mare/out injured

I agree for this particular game I would have selected Mortlock as the goal kicker.
