Under 20 Six Nations

That's more like it - England looking dominant.

Selecting English props is going to be very difficult in a couple of years...

Tight match here!

Ringrose intercept. 37 - 20 to Ireland now with 6 min left.

Irish deserve their victory with some excellent back play well directed by their no 10 Bryne who never missed a kick (place or out of hand) French good upfront but could not cope with the speed and effectiveness of the Irish backs.
Our girls did get back some credit with a 10-5 but they had to go off the park for 40 mins in the 2nd half because of trouble with the lights!!!!!!

The improvement of Byrne in 12 months is ridiculous, Ringrose and Dardis are also very exciting standouts in the backs. Unfortunately they are from St. Michael's, Terenure and Blackrock so they do represent the trio of evil!

I think the big difference was that the Irish did nothing complicated they just did everything at 100mph, which just opened up the French defence a couple of inside passes and that was all it needed, maybe a few first teams coaches should watch the match excellent stuff from both teams. have to say that its true defences are a lot more aware of this kind of play in the senior leagues, but still very entertaining to watch, here in France we do get all the -20 games on France 4.

I was thinking the same thing myself in comparison to 20's and senior rugby, I wonder if rugby could ever go the way of American Football where the most entertaining level is 20's because it has less structured defences to senior rugby.

Haven't watched the u20s this season yet.. Has Jack Owens played fullback at all so far? That was always his best position at school, don't think he ever played there before. Glad to see him starting.

Owens has been playing on the wing in the 2 games so far but I would expect Gaffney to be back on the wing for the JWC. Ireland have plenty of wingers in this years U20s.

Ireland 9 - 6 England in this game. Ireland on the line a few times but missed chances.

England looking more exciting in attack but in small patches - Ireland winning the collisions and bossing the breakdown, leaving England with no platform to really attack from.

Ireland winning collisions?! England are noticeably bigger and Ireland are working harder to protect the ball at the breakdown.

Only half watching while doing other things, but I've seen Ireland knocking England back several times
