Under 20 6N - 2018

The Irish 11 should be hauled off. The lad don't know where he is.

Mixed bag from Ireland. Over the 80 minutes France deserved their win. Ireland improved out of sight from the 1st to 2nd half.

Scrum was mostly decent. Jack O'Sullivan looked a strong carrier bar on a couple of occasions when he could have done better. Jonny Stewart is a good passer but passed way behind the gainline. Hugh O'Sullivan wasn't as good a passer but threw the ball flatter which helped the attack. Harry Byrne is an excellent tactical kicker but frequently stood too deep. Has potential to be a very good player. Michael Silvester and James McCarthy showed flashes which indicate they can develop into solid provincial players. Tommy O'Brien didn't start well but was outstanding in the second half.

Very poor in the first half but showed some spirit to fight back and make a decent game of it. I was impressed by Harry Byrne (is he related to Ross Byrne) and Jack O'Sullivan the most but it was a promising performance from the whole team to be honest once we cut out the silly errors from the first half.

Really like the look of this Wales U20 side. Got a nice balance to the side and good players throughout. There were a few 17/18y/o's in that side that didn't look out of place at all!

Scored a couple of lovely try's on Friday night. There was also one of the luckiest bounces ever for one of Wales tries.

Interesting to see a number or players brought in from outside the initial training squad.
I think Redpath is still in the u18s?

Absolutely shocking tackle in the Irish game. Italian 6 red carded. Really poor Irish team though. Might watch the Nordies game instead. 5 apiece for now.

Anyone know what happened to Willis missing from the squad? Sky are showing Hinkley starting at 7.

Can't see any mention of it on social media, just England announcing a changed lineup (and not mentioning that it was changed)

Love Ibitoye, not sure where he's going to play as a senior, but he's very talented.

I do worry about his size.
