TRF's 2014 FIFA World Cup

Probably Jean De Viliers drawing Du Rant like one of his Afrikaaner boys or some **** like that.

Congrats Germany! The best national football team at the moment, by far.

That looks like a pretty epic backyard.

If Argentina hadn't based their entire 'extra time tactics' around 'try to injure Shweinsteiger', they may have had a chance. They should have been down to 10 men within the first couple of minutes, and could have been down to 8 by the end.

Messi getting 'player of the tournament' was a complete joke.

Best team won, with no assistance from the officials.

Mascherano was immense as usual (though was one of the 3 who could easily have been sent off). Higuain is awful. Neuer is a collosus as a keeper (literally in football sized people)

Neuer made a penalty so big as the Maracana, and he deserved red card too (Knee to the head of Higuain)

You are right.

Well, before that Germany should have gone down to 10 too given the brutal kick Howedes gave to Zabaleta.

I don't expect foreigners to get every Afrikaans name or word right but at least not every single one WRONG, surely?!;

Well done to Heineken on his win. Ironically, if he had lost I'd be 20 cans the richer, but hey ho. Heineken bruh, what watercolour sketch you want?

haha, nah, I'm good. Just glad I got the winning team.

I listened to Rammstein all the way to work this morning.

This is the new difficulty settings for Fifa 15

Germany was the best team by far. They are deserving champions. Argentina was only 'Catenaccio'. Higuain finished playing at 5, Lavezzi at 4 and Enzo Perez at 3. Germany eliminated most difficult rivals France, Brazil, USA and Portugal.

At a time Argentina played the game with three defensive midfielders: Mascherano-Biglia-Gago. The Argentina's game was just defense. In the big games we played as the Iran's style.

Argentina didn't deserve to be champion, a team that only defends not deserve to be the champion of the world. Germany showed a better performance in the tournament and was the one who tried to attack more in the final, Argentina defense was just a very boring style of play as Internazionale of Mourinho or Italy 2006

Congratulations Germany!

Pretty fun listen people that don't have a f.. idea about football, talking like an expert. This is not rugby, that was foul, penalty and red card.

It wasn't. The only reason why Higuain got the knee was because he didnt jump and contest the ball with Neuer. I suspect that's why the ref actually gave a free kick to Germany. In reality there didn't need any further action, other than the throw in from Neuer's punch clearance

It's even funnier to listen to Argentinians like you *****ing and moaning about that incident when only Argentinians feel that they should've got a free kick out of it.

Totally agree. The striker cannot simply assume that he has the God given right to the ball. A well timed and successful clearance. Not to mention a warning to Higuain what may happen if he goes anywhere near the 18 yd box.

IMO it was totally fair I mean even in rugby that would be considered a fair contest and we've been all *****y about players in the air recently.

Yup, and to add to that, Neuer won the contest, he made contact with the ball, whereas Higuain didn't, his head made contact with Neuer's knee...

1° Neuer is outside the 6 yard box, where he has all the protection to take the ball and no one can't touch him.
2° In the penalty box he's like any defender, so even if he goes to touch the ball he can't put on risk the physical of the opponent. If an argentine defender headed the ball in his defensive box and the same time elbows the rival face... what was that? Inercia of the play?

1. The argentinian went down crying like a little girl
2. He got up and started screaming at the referee
3. He went back on the ground crying and all the medics came on to make sure he didn't get too dehydrated through all of his blubbing.
