But going to no RWC and won't be an Irish international. Has garnered a bit of experience and Leinster wing depth isn't huge compared to other areas.

True enough, but right now we've only got Larmour and Kearney in the Ireland squad from a back three POV. Along with Lowe, we've got Byrne, Dave Kearney, Ferg and Daly and none of then are going to the RWC either. Admittedly one or two of them might be off but Connacht are a bit short on back three players. He's done nothing in his time in Galway to make me think he's anywhere near good enough to merit us going and recruiting him.

If we're looking to recruit anywhere it should be hooker. Cronin is great but his pace is a big part of his game and he might slow down soon. Behind him Tracy is a decent backup at best and won't be anything more. Bryan Byrne is decent and Ronan Kelleher is talented but if Cronin leaves it'd be worth trying to find a quality option overseas. With Fardy maybe off after this season there's definitely space for another NIQ.

True but I sure Kelleher a cheap option. McFadden may not have much left and Dave K is not much left either in Leinster.

Fardy will be reuturning to Oz is the rumour.
 
True but there are the likes of Keenan coming through. It's not clear yet what position Tommy O'Brien will focus on, but he's very talented and he night well make his debut over the 6N. I don't think it's in anyone's interest for Kelleher to come back and plug short term hole for Leinster and then being overtaken by younger and better players and being shipped back off the Connacht or Ulster in a few years. I get the reasons we'd go in for him but I don't think it's the best idea.

True but equally Leinster may be the only deal on the table. Maybe Connacht are clearing a few out too

Makes you feel better saints being linked to every centre pretty much.

That being said Kriel is also linked to Tigers and Sale.

Also sounds like PSDT, Snyman and LdJ are both going to go to the prem along with Pollard, Kwagga Smith, Kitschoff and the Du Preez brothers.

Think current rumours are

LDJ to Tigers
Dan du Preez to Sale
Jean luc du Preez to Sale
Kwagga smith to someone
Kolisi to Wasps
Pollard to Bath
Rob du Preez to Sale

Thats just in the Prem.

Both are good servants be sad to let both go but there are better up and coming Irish lads for those positions in goggin and bill Johnson who both need time on the pitch.


Any truth in the dillane coming south rumours?
