Transfers Rumours

Wonder if Lancaster wants too much dough or if clubs just aren't rating his time in Leinster.

Either would be fair I suppose, took an impressively bad coach to not have us as a top 4 team in Europe and Lancaster was just willing to use the the pathways that started with Cheika and Schmidt rather than pluck players in their mid to late 20s from the top amateur league in Ireland like MO'C did.

Tigers fans in general have a really big grudge about Lancaster

In all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if the club leaked Lancasters name just to make Gustard sound better

Ruaridh McConnochie to Falcons on the cards. Interesting one, Bath have barely used him
The vultures are circling...

More seriously though, he's just been overtaken by Muir and Cokanasiga - he's a 33 year old winger, so it's not really surprising.
Has been the integral senior member of the PRC squad though - still a good brain and good skill set, just lost pace (which was never his strong point anyway).
I think most of us were surprised when he extended last year.

Think that'd be a good pickup for Falcons - watching them this season it does feel like they need an older/experienced head in the backline
In an ideal world you'd probably want it at 9 or 10, but as long as they're in the huddle it'd be a boost

Didn't we talk about that rumour yesterday?

Either way, he'd be a good option for you - good skills, good brain, good leadership, cheap.
Yes, he's a 33 year old winger who's losing pace, but his game was never about pace in the first place - he'll have a lot to give, and one of those players I could see converting into coaching successfully.
I had hoped that the latter is what Bath were thinking when we extended his contract last year.

Apologies I missed that.
