Transfers Rumours

This must be what it's like for a kid watching his two dad's bicker... One dad is an absolute beefcake with a perfectly kept beard and nice flow in a nice pair of fitted navy trousers and a nice white shirt under a navy cardigan while the other dad is shorter, balding, starting to show a bit of a belly and wearing a red and navy get up that's not really working for him. I mean, both parents command respect but it's not hard to tell which one commands it more!

On that. An interesting question. If Munster (or any other province) win Pro14 and Leinster end up with nothing would it be seen as Munster had a much better season.

Seeing as we did get more points and all in regular season :)

Ah here Muff this is what we call the opposite of a hot take. Especially as we'd have to beat them on the road to winning the Pro 14 I think they'd all concede this point!

The statue of Wycherley using Sexton's mouth to cut the grass at Thomond is being commissioned soon I'd say.
Have to say the play Snoop is referencing, Alone it Stands is really really well done. Saw it with the father a few years back. Would recommend to anyone.

Agreed, it's really good.

Munster would probably make a play about beating Leinster.

Did you know they once beat New Zealand? It's rarely mentioned.
Same way Leinster were once obsessed with Munster and their attendances, performances and kind of everything.
In fact some may say they still are in a fun way. More so than their own.
;) Leinster Rugby established in 2009.
Ye will appreciate history too as ye are 10 years in existence this season

Coincidentally this is when Munster lost a few of our fans lol.

To be fair they are only 10 years old as a province. They will eventually get to appreciate history. Lets not forget in history too Munster once played an away SF in Lansdagainst someone and majority of tickets were sold for shopping money.

Well to be fair Munster stopped existing at roughly the same time so I wouldn't get too excited.

10 years ago today (in 20 minutes.) Munster still haven't recovered.

Munster still have more season ticket holders and still clearly exist. Maybe win F all and yeah never recovered yet fully from that but still here. As I said we older than 10 years so have history. Not going to deny. We are not good enought at moment but still surely the reply can be a bit better than that.
Yes ye hammered is in 2009.
Yes ye have been beyter the last 10 years.

But we still here and still well supported so can't really understand that post.

But before that it was an embarrassment that noone would support Leinster and there was more dublin people supporting lads in red in Thomond than there was in Donnybrook or RDS.

Think 2006 and fans sold tickets to a home SF to go shopping over supporting a team. Wow.

But fair play to Leinster Rugby as they got foundations spot on. Yes they have a schools system.with funding in ot that puts most professionals to shame but they are executing resources correctly to produce and deserve credit.

Getting silly now lads, time to give it a rest I think.

Boasting more season tickets when a) you have a bigger stadium, and b) you also sell them for another stadium is a bit daft. Saying Leinster began in 09 is also silly (Slightly ironic considering Munster's fans ran for the hills in their dark years a while back), we won silverware in the pro era before Munster ever did beating them in the inaugural Celtic league, a year later 46,000 fans would watch us beat Biarritz in a Heineken Cup quarter final...
Insulting Munster for not winning trophies has kind of run its course too, and the last six years has been for them no different to the 2002-2008 period we had, Munster fans were quickly made to shove their "it's only the magnets" and "there's only one real competition" then, might want to be careful especially as next season looks relatively more promising for them and less promising for us.

This is a transfer rumours thread used by every fan of any club on these boards, they don't need to read "we win more trophies than you" and "Well we won them them first" over and over.

Shaun Edwards has confirmed he's out the door. I'd say he won't be short of some tasty offers.

I think a 4 year contract with France was the strongest rumour about Shaun Edwards.
Wouldn't last the 4 years. His methods and style require unity, high workrate and bravery.

Not sure they are 3 ingredients you'd mix with France.

On another for Leinster and Luke Fitzgerald has touched on it yesterday too but rumours Frawley has alot sniffing around him
