Transfers rumours

No idea if there's any truth to it, just rehashing something said on UAFC and LF.com. Rumour originates from the Rugby Paper apparently.

Forgetting contract issues, the move makes sense. Moore's move to Wasps hasn't worked out as well as he'd have hoped. Ulster have a clusterf*ck at tighthead. Rodney Ah You has never been consistent enough, Wiehann Herbst is okay but unspectacular and Ross Kane is unproven. Moore has talent as evidenced by his international caps. A move to Ulster would likely see him become first choice 3, allow him to work with Jono Gibbes again and put him back in the frame for international consideration

Moore another example of moving abroad blowing up in your face. I don't say that in spite or anything, but he's fallen off the radar hugely as other players came through. Ulster is definitely his best avenue back though. Good move for both Moore and Ulster. Glad we didn't get him back before he left.

For every Marty Moore, Ian Madigan and JJ Hanrahan who had moves which didn't work out as well as planned, there's a Tadhg Beirne, Chris Farrell, Mike Ross, Eoin Reddan, Leo Cullen, Shane Jennings, Tommy Bowe and Johnny O'Connor who furthered their claims with a stint abroad. Peter Stringer, Donncha O'Callaghan and James Coughlan extended their careers with very productive stints outside Ireland. Ian McKinley is soon to become an international due to a move to Italy.

Moore's is a cautionary tale but if I were a young player on the fringes offered a chance to earn good money and playing time elsewhere and still have time to return to Ireland, I'd take it.

Wasps have confirmed already they aren't renewing his deal. It was also in that report that mentioned his poor attitude and reputation that is putting a lot of Prem clubs off him.
His next move is vital for his career and a move to Belfast would be very smart

If he gets any thiccer he's gonna implode.
Genuinely the fattest guy in pro rugby.

Moore reminds me of a even fatter version of fat Mac from Always sunny in philadelphia

No issue with young fringe guys, but Madigan, Hanrahan and Moore were established in their provinces, courted heavily to stay, and moved for money too early in their career, and in the case of Hanrahan and soon Moore came back no more developed with a lot still to prove, only younger guys have been filling the wholes they left since. Sexton never loss his reputation, but his move also didn't do him any good. Guys like O'Callaghan and Stringer have benefited from good player welfare and have been able to stay healthy and retire on their own terms. That's the payoff guys who move young need to balance.

A man of his size should really take some lessons from the fate of the ***anic and be wary about seeking improvement in Belfast.

No question, their moves worked out well for their bank balances and less so for their careers. You could equate where they were in their careers with where Mick O'Driscoll, Leo Cullen, Shane Jennings and Tommy Bowe were in theirs when they made the move abroad. All four of those players became far more rounded and came back to play for their country.

I suppose what I'm railing against is the lack of balance in the Irish media about moves abroad. In many cases it has worked for the players benefit. There will always be successes and failures just as there are with foreign players coming to play for the provinces.

Here lads... Leave Belfast alone, I don't see anywhere in Leicester or Limerick winning any awards for best tourist attraction in Europe!
Belfast turned the only thing that made it useful to anyone into a gigantic museum. Belfast yes!

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck -----> All Blacks

Could be agent play but talk that he is looking at a move after his NRL contract ends in 2018.
Big fan of his reckon he could be devastating in union at 15 and he has history of union so the basics shouldn't be bad.

Bristol after a few locks, the Gray brothers have been mentioned.

Zebo off to France, wouldn't have minded him moving to Glaws.
