Point taken but i mean we develop players rather than buying the already big names, like wasps buy beale, la roux, goppath and get out their cheque book. We bought waldrom woodburn short devoto and developed them into better players. Thats what i meant. Not that we dont buy but we buy and develop rather than buy all the big name players.
But a couple would be nice say if we could get watson. Or woodward would have been good for us tbh.
Wasn't Waldron a multi cap international when you signed him?

There's plenty of players Chiefs have developed from championship clubs/lower (Tom Francis is a starting international these days, for example), I don't think any of those you named would count towards chiefs development quota

Waldrom didn't improve at Chiefs he just got played more he did what he did with chiefs for Tigers.

I can understand that, it does seem very unlikely though correct, would seem more likely for us to sign Yarde

Shame about Thacker. So much talent but the laws just don't suit him right now.
From what i'm told Veainu is already signed up now.
Heard that too on Saturday. I know when I spoke to him in Town pre-season he was miffed about McCaffrey and Betham being shown the door.

Would help him get back in to the Irish picture but it a case of he has went backwards at Wasps and has to work hard to salvage his reputation. His work rate and attitude were supposedly awful at Wasps. But if he does knuckle down there is talent there
