Would've thought that he'd stay with 7s until the Olympics - unless he wasn't offered a new central contract?

Be interesting to see if he can transition back to XVs after being a full time 7s player. He has time on his side as it's only been a few seasons - players like Dan Caprice who were outstanding in 7s massively struggles when back in XVs.

Surprised at that Weepu move. Won't hurt to take a punt on it I guess since he's off to France after may do him good to play infront of a lively crowd. Heinz is a good one for Gloucester, they seem to be able to work with him whilst injured so good for them.

I'm surprised that we haven't gone for him with Brits injury problems.

Hugely talented schools player who never really kicked on. A change of scenery is best for all concerned. I think his contract with Leinster is up at the end of the season so this is pretty much a trial with Gloucester with a view to a longer deal IMO. If Gloucester can get the best out of him, they could have a star on their hands.
