I am actually wetting myself I'm laughing so hard. You have got to be joking mate! Parks isn't even in the top 10 fly halves in Britain!!
I'm just going to mention Carter, Hook, O'Gara, Steve Jones and Giteau as I haven't seen enough of the rest, particularly Nick Evans even though he's seemed to be getting rave reviews. Why has he gone to Harlequins if he is THAT good though?
The likes of Barnes, Cipriani and Brett have done nothing on the international scene yet to be seen as best in the world, but I'm sure they will in time.
NB: Look out for Ospreys and Wales 18 year old FH Dan Biggar. Expecting big things from this man!!!

Why is Parks there? Is this some kind of joke?!

Personally, I'd have Hernandez and Carter tied for first. At their best, they're both in a league of their own.
Also, no Stephen Jones? :ranting:

Are you serious, Jonny Wilkinson the best fly-half in the world. You must be on something mate. Perhaps if this post was created five or six years ago, then yes. Dan Carter is the best in the world, Jonny is lucky to get in the top ten. Juan Martin Hernandez was probably the best fly-half in the 2007 Rugby World Cup so putting him at six in your list is crazy. The all round brilliant Matt Giteau is much better than James Hook. Hook has the potential to become the best fly-half in Welsh rugby, but he needs time. Stephen Larkham has retired from international rugby, I don't even think he has a club to play for so he can't be one of the top ten fly-halfs in the world. All in all putting Jonny at number one is crazy, he isn't even the best fly-half at Newcastle.

Yes you're right about Wilkinson at the moment. But I think he's the best fly-half there has ever been, and he made England play better during the World Cup when he came back. And when he's fit again (and Cipriani) that those two will be the best fly-half of the Northern Hemisphere. But this list is about who I think are the best fly-halfs, in my opinion, so why calling me crazy? Crazy is that you think Wilkinson isn't even the best at Newcastle. Who's better?

I'm sorry, I'm currently imagining you sitting in the middle of a cannabis plantation, with a Newcastle Falcons top on with a reaaaally stereotypical Dutch accent like in the Grolsch beer adverts.

It is that alone that has made your argument..meaningless.

I do it with Waiaparacullen all the time, I just imagine that he is an extra at the New Zealand Consulate in Flight of the Conchords..

Even though he isn't a true fly-half I think Toby Flood is a better out-half than Jonny, at this time.

Dan Carter is the best in the world. Wilkinson is a close second, with Hernandez, O'Gara and Giteau bringing up the rear. Larkham and Mehrtens were both great before they left test rugby.
