Too many international Tests

As a Tasman supporter, I find it difficult to feel a connection with the Crusaders when so many of our players are playing for other franchises. I would like to see a return to the way it used to be, where the Franchises selected their players from the players in the NPC/HC teams in their own catchment areas, so Tasman players the likes of James Lowe, Liam Squire, Marty Banks, Alex Ainley, Shane Christie and Billy Guyton would be playing for the Crusaders, not the other four franchises.

Hear, hear! I actually like the Highlanders more than the Crusaders. Especially with Christie as captain.

I agree. Rugby is so much more demanding than soccer. The IRB need to look at this.
