With a Covid wave already well underway in the Athlete's Village; even if the self isolation doesn't prevent an athlete from competing, it's sure as hell going to affect their physical and mental preparation to do so.

How many events are essentially going to be the last 3 standing to make the podium?

How many of the top athletes are actually in the village? I know in the past they tend to cycle in and out only when their event is on rather than spend the whole two weeks there and might be based somewhere else entirely depending on where their event actually is.
