Hi from another new person.
Tahs and Wobblies fan (when they play well, otherwise im a Barbars fan) and follow Parramatta in League. I'm looking forward to read though all the material here and wouldnt mind getting recomendations about which NH games to watch (Magners League, Heineken Cup etc) as I know next to nothing about it!
cheers
chook

Welcome to TRF mate.

If it's Magners league matches you're looking for then you can't go wrong with the derbies over the christmas period, should be some great matches in prospect in all 3 countries, got off to a decent start with last night's game.

Don't think there's much coverage of NH competitions though in Australia though, unless you have Setanta.

Cheers boys, thanks for the welcome.
I will be able to view NH games through various nefarious methods that are not encouraged (to talk about) on your great website. Any hints as to which games a crackers and which to avoid will be appreciated.
cheers
chook

Munster v Leinster on Dec 27 and Leinster v Ulster on New Years Eve would be the highlights for me, I'm sure there's others, but them's the ones for me.

I can't wait to see these matches. Irish Provencial Rugby thumps English Premiership most days. In my humble opinon that is.

Welcome welcome! ^^

Sarries vs Northampton and Leicester vs Sale are two good rivalries to watch.

Welcome Chook!!

Thought for a moment you were a Rooster.......

Good to see another Tah on board.........the thing i like about Tah supporters, is that they all support a League team...thus the League thread grows with activity

GO THE RAIDERS

HI, i'm very new too...

I support Saracens and play at scrum-half...

thats a gud one ak47....save it for when the WARRIORZ thrash yo stinky raiders...maybe ill save it and go bahahahaha....!

welcome newbies...you answer to me only unless you are a dwarf with 6toes and a neonsign on ya head saying "free me..im a homo"

if thats you then you may speak openly in this cool forum

Thanks guys. The Tahs fans I know (myself included) all supported a league team before supporting Tahs. The hardcore tahs fans cant stand bogan ball (the ones I know from a tahs supporter website). Weird!
Been a Parra fan for a long time as I've lived and went to school in that area. I bailed on league when the Super League fiasco was going on in Australia and started supporting the Tahs then. Always a Wallaby (and Barbars fan when the Wobblies play bad) though!!

Yeah, a lot of the old guard Tahs fans are private school boys who turn their nose up at league... but most people are pretty cool. I personally still love my league, though I too turned for a while thanks to the super league fiasco and it's what really got me into the union. But league is still great for its pace and power, so it's really refreshing to watch if you've just been exposed to a game against the saffers or the poms thats all kicking and scrums :p .

Oi! I'll have you know that we poms do not have the ability to kick or scum these days! Only the fantastic ability to chase after the non-english player with the ball!

Fantastic!
