Big news regarding the big guy.....he has unfortunately been diagnosed with cancer(believe abdominal) and obviously the position of mayor is too strenuos to take on while uundergoing treatment so Rob has dropped out of the Mayoral race and will just be running for councillour in his own ward.

His brother Doug(who is a councillor at the moment) is widely expected to run for mayor now, though he only has a matter of minutes to file his nomination papers prior to the deadline.

Get well soon, Rob. Needs to take some time and get himself right, I hope the media leaves him in peace to recuperate and get the help and support he needs.
