That match should have been a draw, Liverpool's goal should have stood and Zenden was offside.

Zenden wasn't offside. If you watch the slo-mo replay you can see that it was actually a perfect decision.

I may be biased but.............

have to agree, Zenden was just onside............

Well I'm no Liverpool fan and certainly no fan of Boro so I'm just going on what I saw. Obviously had that been a Newcastle goal he'd be onside but it wasn't.

I'm only going by what I saw and he was offside.
You're wrong, but let's just agree to disagree on this one.

Fair enough.

Harry Redknapp has quit as manager of Portsmouth after being named manager of the month on Saturday. Bizarre.

Going by the new 'daylight' offside rule, then Zenden was onside.
What a load of inconsistent rubbish that rule is.

And as far as I'm concerned Zenden WAS onside, I have no problem with that, I have a problem with the goal we were robbed of.

The offside rule is now useless. If people hadn't moaned about the number of wrong decisions made and except that linesmen are only human and are going to make mistakes, then I doubt there would now be as much of an issue.

I agree, video technology is the answer but for some reason experts in football seem to think that this will slow down the game, lead to too many stoppages. Nonsense it's not exactly the fastest ball game by any stretch of the imagination. If 1 or 2 minutes are added on to a game of football to improve the quality of decisions then I'm all for it. Plus the tension makes for great viewing and spectating.

Charlton 0-4 Chelsea
West Brom 0-3 Man Utd
Man City 2-0 Aston Villa
Bolton 0-1 Portsmouth
Aberdeen 1-0 Dundee United
Southampton 2-2 C Palace
Birmingham 1-1 Norwich
Fulham 0-2 Blackburn

Chelsea are looking awesome at the moment I must say even though Charlton are an absolutely shocking football team.

Shaun Wright-Phillips.......back of the net! Top strike from the little lad.

I think I've worked out why the disgraceful behaviour of the Spanish supporters didn't worry him.........he couldn't see them over the advertsing boards.

More dropped points for Newcastle, at home to Everton drawing 1-1, Bellamy missed a glorious chance with 5 minutes left.

Great result for Liverpool against Arsenal with a last minute stunner from Neil Mellor.
