Joking aside I don’t think I’ve ever come across anyone say anything positive about it.
I'll end up watching the rest sometime - I usually like Nolan - but it's hard work. He's gone way too far in the other direction from Inception*
*too much exposition to what in the hell who in the hell where in the hell why in the hell just please give me a cogent plot point

Tenet - im glad i watched it as its an impressive movie, ive tried explaining this concept to Mrs Womble before and not sure she gets it films can be "good" as in impressive/thought provoking etc.....but not exactly enjoyable....the same way i truly enjoy several films that are universally considered bad

I'm definitely going to have to start over when I'm in the mood for it. The first hour (where I eventually got to) is all over the place though. I know it will pull together later but it's so ... disjointed? So far. It's just back in time bullets and random scenes of stuff and my patience ran out
It's definitely Nolan's worst film and the only one I don't like as I'm aware huge fan of his other work.

Cut that friend off immediately.
He's a weird guy usually pretty sound movie opinions but occasionally he'll decide if he likes or dislikes something before he's seen it and there no budging. (Blade Runner 2049 was a prime example)

No. Probably the worst Nolan film IMO. But then I didn’t enjoy Memento either.

Momento is his best film by far. I think Nolan is overated personally.

Don’t know I watched it once at the cinema years ago and hated it. Did my head in. Just didn’t enjoy it.

It definitely is one of those movies that isn’t for everyone and I can see how people don’t like it.

Mad Max 2 (2024) is much better than expected
Saw friendship with Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd last night. Laughed the whole time even though I had my hands over my eyes for most of it.
I really really really want to see that, hoping for a UK cinema release before I sail the high seas
