Don't really want Godman to be retained TBH i'd rather have average Irish players then average Kiwis, for two reasons 1 to develop Irish talent and 2 so we're not taking up a NIQ spot (not sure if this applies to Godman though).

I know we;re not pushed hard for them it's just I'd like to see them used for high caliber players not ITM cup level, I'd like to see the whole squad a HC level more or less and certainly our NIQs at that level.

He's useful to have and certainly performed well enough vs Clermont.

All right, let me deal with this. Firstly, you may or may not have noticed, but Leinster have something of an issue at centre at the moment. There's going to be a serious lack of seniority and experience there once Dorce and Drico hang up their boots. Even if both are retained, they're off away with the international set up as often as not. While it's all well and good saying that you want Irish players there, it's a fact that if they're anywhere near good enough they'll miss large parts of the season. That means for important parts of the league season you're fielding kids. The like of Goodman, HVDM, Isa Nacewa, etc, have all proved hugely important in those times. It's one of the reasons young players find it so easy to integrate into the Leinster setup, and one of the reasons that we've made it to two Celtic League finals in a row.
Secondly, Leinster may lose their 13 and 10 next season. That means new guys, or at least guys not used to playing with eachother all that often and certainly not on the stage that they will be will occupy those slots. Having a 12 who is an experienced campaigner and is already bedded into the setup will be a huge advantage.
I'm by no means saying that Goodman is a world beater, or even a definite Heineken Cup starter. He's a good defender, possesses a solid boot, provides a lot of experience in the midfield, and seems to have a decent basic skill set. There's a lot to be said for keeping a guy like that around.

Sad up the top it all depends on EOM fitness if he can succeed BOD. Now I convinced he will never do as it seems his knee is gone again and it seems it will just never last long enough to keep good run of games.

Marsh really impressed me at schools level. He reminds me a lot of David Humphreys in how he attacks. Plays close to the line gain line, puts others into space but has quite a slight frame. I hope he makes it because he's very exciting to watch.

I think Sexton and Madigan could have made a good five-eighths pairing given time. Certainly with D'Arcy on borrowed time.
Playing week in-week out for Leinster would have given them good experience together for Ireland.

Firstly good to to see Johnny back hope he goes well and should be fully fit given the extra week off. Good to see McGrath getting a start would much rather see Moore/Hagan on the other side, but I suppose we have to give Bent a bit of a chance. I hope Isa goes well at FB always loved his running from there. Nice to see BOD leading the team out too.
