i say you didnt watch the game because you said he had a presence on the field... and because you said he was a key player.... if you actually watched the game then read your comments you would see how obvious it is you didnt watch the game.

dont bullshit us mate... you probably watched the highlights and asumed because he scored a try he played well.

i also wouldnt assume you watch more football then i do. i watch a hell of alot of football buddy.

hell.... my statement about SBW is more valid then your pie in the sky statement of Folau.

saying Folau>Jonah is like saying Fredy Adu>Pele.

and for the record....as of the last weekend its Anthony Quin>Folau.

qld junior records mean jack ****.... do you think thats gonna make him feel any better if the storm lose the GF again??

you will never learn

and i wont waste my time.........i dont have as much time on my hands as folau does to get things rolling

No you dont watch as much NRL as me..........period - that is all

Will leave it at that, not bikering over words used, to make this thread lose its honost credibilty

Hail - The GREAT FOLAU

i also wouldnt assume you watch more football then i do. i watch a hell of alot of football buddy.
[/b]

Its not an assumption - its a fact

I have watched every single game this year - I kid you not

Its not hard when ur flatmate works for NRL stats (Miles Balman - he is in Sidhe' NRL credits uder NRL stats team) :bleh!: , and brings home the official stat readings of all the matches players and teams - not too mention the massive GIGABYTE block thingy he brings home with every minute of the match filmed from atleast 5-6 different cameras.

Obviously i havent watch every minute of all the matches

But i have watched the majority of most matches - ie being a good half of NRL....i wont watch 80mins of tripe quality, or a blowout

And yes - i have been monitoring Folau week in week out........but Monday Nights games i dont get to watch until wednesdays thursdays, as the coaches and analysts @ Foxsports are still going thru it - the Data Block thingy with all the matches, from the NRL.

But i did watch the game at the pub live - but without volume, which does take alot away from analyzing with precision and accuracy

I am no expert........but i am a bold person and will back my claim until proven otherwise!!!

Give the kid time.......and watch this space <_<

dude... harp on about your flatmate the stats man all you like... you made a big statement about Folau's game on monday night which makes no sense.

and you claim to have watched every single game the season... deadset... if you you were watching the same game as the rest of us on monday night mate you wouldnt have made that comment.

and hell... you dont need to have statman as your flatmate to see that... but sure... wait for your stats to come out mate... it will only show how weird your comment was.

fair call - my comment was sarcasm and i did not use an emotican

the comment "that Folau's presence was felt, as when he took the field the storm took the lead"

he was benched at the start and the dogs scored first

hook line n sinker - FOLAU IS THAT GOOD :p

I cant even fathom the scoreline if he started â€" is there cricket scoreboards at Olympic park????

Seriously though - i do know dude that he didnt have a great game........in fact i know his last 3 games have been nothing like his first lot.....
but i dont care.........everyone is entitled for ordinary performances - if he were a ROOSTER (and a NSW), he'd get #6 blue jersey..........HOW MANY ORDINARY PERFORMANCES DOES ANASTA GET AWAY WITH.

Anasta is all heart but no substance........u know he tries, but nothing comes from within............

Folau doesnt even try........he doesnt have to.....

mate our house/flat is rediculous on the scale of league banter

when someone makes a claim, out comes the stats, or the footage

we even thought of having our own judiciary game - giving our own opinions and betting on what the NRL would charge the player

But with the farce the judiciary is, we decided to can it after SBW's send off, as that threw the cat amonsgt the pigeons, as scapegoating or 'protecting the faces of rugby league' became a form of punishment.

Although we have our own proper league in the foxsports fantasy

We also have one at home with NO CAP.......so we can go all in with Superteams

we need this guy for the wallabies in future.. [/b]
The Wallabies won't need him in the future. They could possibly benefit from him in the future if he was there, but we will have to wait and see if he does defect in the future, but that probably won't happen because he has already stated he wants to stay in league. I suppose he may become a great player and be lured by the international spice of the game and money, but we will have to wait and see.

However, as I said originally....The Wallabies won't need him in the future.

Damn... Should've noticed this thread earlier... Did anyone see Izzy's tackle on Nathan Merritt last night? Poor fella... I'd give Folau another year before Origin though. Sure he's a big lad and he can be physical, but after a year of tough, physical football and he'll be more than prepared for the intensity of Origin.

I agree. If he keeps going the way he is, an Origin spot on the wing should be his next year. Hopefully he doesn't just plateau sooner or later.

shane williams is the measuring stick for wingers...ask lora

Thought id bump this up abit for a laugh....

just watched Eels V Dogs at Telstra.... Krisnan Inu is a deadset freak... if Izzy is going to be the greatest of all time then this kid will walk on water and part the red sea... seriously... Inu has alot of potential.

something else... the Panthers signed a young star who the Melbourne Storms scout said is the best young talent hes ever seen... this is coming from the same guy that found Folau and Inglis...

Perhaps young Izzy isnt turning out to be the Messiah that someone made him out to be....

Izzy was absolutely freakish tonight! He would have stood up any winger on earth with that form!

i think you might mean Inu...
Izzy isnt playing until monday against the sharks...

but on Inu's performence tonight... he was absolutely outstanding... he isnt a one trick pony who lives off his playmakers kicks... he can actually create tries from absolutely nothing with his speed, strength and his freakish skills.

im sorry but Izzy hasnt even come close to doing what Inu did in the game that just went... he was denied as gus put it a 'miracle' try by the video ref.

then he scored the match clincher with sublime skills... when he had to run out of the field of play chasing his own kick he had the awareness to skim a foot on the ground infield before grounding the ball which was astounding....

like i said... Izzy hasnt come close to pulling off anything like that...

can you imagine the kind of havoc hes going to cause running off SBW for thew kiwis...

I just sat and read this entire thread on this so called "up and coming star" and by god, you guys don't half *****!
I actually wish that i could find some way of watching this guy online just to see what all the fuss is about.

But he must be something to be watched otherwise people wouldn't argue so vehemently over him.

Izzy is definately a good young footballer.... i just take exception to the statement that hes going to be the greatest of all time...

i think tags like that end up putting way too much pressure on these kids to preform. they have to do a hell of alot already.

if your wanting to watch these guys play then go onto the NRL website...
you can stream all there games a couple of days after theve played them. just goto the Video Gallery.

check out the Bulldogs V Eels match from last night. it was a great game of football. and ofcourse Krisnan Inu was outstanding. i think it was on setanta too...
