I think this has been the best last day in the Ryder Cup in a while. Americans didnt give up but also most of the matches have tight.

If it's a tie there'll be a meltdown about Viktor Hovland.
USA got the half they needed with the same rule by dropping Steve Pate who got injured before the tournament started and was far from their best player in 1991 under the same rule.
Retained in the USA for now.

2007, 2008, 2011 and 2014 were all.incredibly special years in Irish golf, this might eclipse them. Only the Harrington major winning years come close for me.

That was what the Ryder Cup is all about. Fair play to the Americans - they were incredible today. I think it just shows how hard it is to win an away Ryder Cup - every European player looked absolutely spent out there. That last point we got in the fourballs last night turned out to be absolutely critical. Genuinely made up for Lowry that he made the winning putt after what he’s had to put up this week with their crowd. That was a iconic moment.
Couldn't wait classless to the end.

Any chance of the Yanks losing graciously?. Of course not, you would expect nothing less. Maybe Bradley should be told that even had Harris English beaten Hovland, we would have still won the Ryder Cup - what a complete loser, as were a lot of the New York “fans”. It should be impossible to lose a home Ryder Cup now given how much home advantage has been manipulated but they still managed it. Can’t wait for 2027 in Limerick - Ireland will do a fantastic job as hosts and it will be a festival atmosphere. Bring it on.

There should be a substitution on site though named the week or so before, the rule is a relic from the 70s. Ironically for Europe it would have been Alex Noren who was there as a VC.
