Real stuff is about €12. Dunnes and Tesco do their own for about €4.50, I reckon Dublin must be the same.

Round up the quarrelsome , put them in a large arena with rudimentary weaponry and allow the victorious a place at the high table.

Tesco's red wine thing called schooner is the Elixir of insanity. One bottle of this fortified wine is positively gurn inducing.
At 4:50 a bottle it's no wonder it's known in some circles as liquid ecstasy.

I'll have to look out for this on Thursday. Insane value. The Poitín they do in Tesco is actually quite nice I was suprised to find out. A lot cheaper than vodka, but I don't really partake of it very much.

I can't for the life of me understand why the mods didn't do something about Hibbyhanky.

He joined on the day of the England v France game, posted 36 posts of baiting, insults, bollux and other irrelevant tosh, and hasn't been seen since. It was obvious to me after about 5 posts that the only thing he was interested in doing is winding people up. I reported one of his posts to the mods, they didn't ban him, and he still isn't banned.

IMO, the Mods are going to have to seriously raise their game during the World Cup and deal with this sort of arsehole very quickly or it will be mayhem here. If I find I will need to wade through Hibbyhanky style trolling posts to get to the serious debate points, I shant bother!

People are quick to bite our heads off 24/7 on this forum. We know how to deal with people, the staff are pretty experienced. I know that lot of staff have stepped down because of the abuse they received for either having an opinion or caring about the forum. It is interesting to read some of the comments above. I will take note.

We try and do our best but when our heads get bitten off or attacked for doing things then sometimes it kills the enjoyment. The community have got to play their part in helping out. So the challenge is to you rather than us. Think of what you can do to help instead of telling us what we should or shouldn't do. That way we can progress forward together.

Three trolls do not make a problem!

I reported the relevant three trolls and they have either been banned or warned and they have stopped or sobered up!!

The Mods do a great job and 99% of the time we get sensible, if only one eyed, arguments which I for one love!!

Ps love or him hate him, and I loved him, BE was like a breath of fresh air at times but for whatever reason he did tend to go off on one! I could live with that but some of the stuff on the 6N thread were way over the top!!!

I'll say this for the filth (mods), they're infinitely better at their jobs than mods I've seen on any other forum. People complaining about mods here is the online equivalent of Irish kids moaning about police brutality.

Im still never drinking cider again unless it's really nice cider which we simply can't get (bar the Stella stuff maybe). If Im going to go full feminine i'll opt for an old sex on the beach instead. Long Island Ice tea is outrageously nice too, must be said.

Well, I know of at least a couple of long standing members that either don't post here anymore, or have scaled back their contributions because of trolling. Having said that, I sometimes think that we sometimes consider opinions stated that are contrary to the popular/common view, as wumming.

The fact that most of us love the sport of Rugby, and have an emotional buy in with at least one team, can sometimes cloud what's simply a difference of opinion, and what's designed to elicit a bite.

I commend the Mods, as it seems that they have to tread a fine line as to whether to deal out punishments or not.

This forums members, generally self police, for want of better words, well, by supporting good posts by contributing, and not feeding the trolls too much.

My plea to all members is not to give up - trolls get bored, and leave pretty quickly.
