In this day of Social media and cameras everywhere i'm very surprised that
1. That photos haven't surfaced
2. that no media publication has picked it up.

I'm not saying i don't fully trust an anonymous poster on a rugby forum BUT....

But they were GRINDIN IN DE CLUB!

We will see, cometh the hour and all that ********. You should be proud of Gatland and IF we beat you on Saturday you will be able to say that the best coach in the World is a Kiwi
Wouldn't go that far. Hope Gatto gets nowhere near the AB coaching job.

Unless I say it Tigs. What I say is Gospel

That's so antipodean.

Admit it, if it was still open you'd be watching in the Redback wouldn't you?

The Redback in Acton?
Bloody oath I would because it's at the top of the road from where I live and I wouldn't have to travel into Hammersmith to catch up with the scaly ones.... but it changed hands and then burnt down.
The walkabout in Shepherds Bush has gone as well.

It's worth noting, we don't go to these places more than a few times a year but they are handy because
a) we know the rugby will be on there
b) they are on main transport links and we are spread out through the city and countryside.
c) with work, families and distances we don't get together very often, so we need a common meeting point

Have you not got any morals ? If he is ******* about behind his wifes back then he deserves to be sanctioned by Gats and thinking back to a couple of Welsh players being dropped in the past I reckon he may have been dealt with rightly so.

How was he sprung?
Did he use the same airport toilet as Aaron Smith?

No mate, please don't talk about my ***s. I'm well aware how terrible our media is when it comes to sport - that's exactly what's been highlighted a few pages earlier in this thread by smartcooky and I even acknowledged it in my post(can you read?) and I'm bringing it back round to you guys. We have a shitty shitty media but we're pretty used to losing so it rarely comes down to making excuses for it - we have to be more inventive than that. I'm asking whether these views are representative of something generally in new zealand i.e is there a shared feeling that decisions went against you on saturday., it's not about *** for tat.

I don't like our media at all and I'm very critical of it as I have mentioned in other threads (can you read too you condescending sod?). But you have the Sun, I know it's history but, they are the biggest scum on Earth what they wrote about that Hillsborough inicident. So whenever I saw the English having a go at other countries about their media, you just need to be reminded of what yours has done and is capable of.

sbw cost the match but this decision didnt help. kaino was robbed.
i cant fathom it either.

but lions also missed a major chance in using their forward advantage to milk penalties from the scrums. that was weird. as bad as the ABs decisions were Lions tried pretty hard to throw this game away. lions kept the ABs in this game up to the last 15 mins

The second bit. The lions tossing the game away. To bloody right they tried their hardest to chuck it, but eventually snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

As a rare breed of scouser who played more rugby than football in his life, I will give this post a mighty friggin two thumbs up. Any way I can like a post more than once? You can stick that UK douche rag where it does not shine.

Saw George North at Heathrow yesterday too. Must've been on my flight from Chch/Auckland - Melbourne - Dubai - London via Qantas. Thought he would've stayed on for the decider.

Makes you wonder eh? Has football changed all that much that the pros aren't even arsed about a potential bit of rugby history in the making? Perhaps he's just ticked off and wanted out of dodge. Also understandable. I personally would have hung around, and got on the ale, but I'm old school..... :)

I personally think no country holds their tabloids in high esteem... So please guys stop arguing about which country has the worst media, they're all shite anyway. Hopefully no one here speaks french, otherwise you'd all be criticizing our mainstream media for being one-eyed, voyeuristic and absolutely idiotic. And you'd be right saying so.

people are reading too much into this match sometimes (as a whole not specifically munstermuffin), but what else are we gonna do until test 3 starts?

;)
Exactly

All blacks have certainly had it easy. Both the boks and the wallabies were the worst I've ever seen them since I started watching them in the early 90s. Ireland beat us. This was partly due to resting a few players and playing the likes of moala who should never have been near the squad in the first place but all that means is a few injuries, and we have more than a few right now, and we are vulnerable.

But I terms of losing being good in the long run, well f the long run. If playing the lions isn't what it's all about then what is? I'd rather beat the lions then win a World Cup. Lions only come every 12 years.

So I have to ask...do the all-blacks really feel this much grievance about what happened on saturday?

Been reading a number of articles from the new zealand media. I hadnt realised Hansen described the red card as debatable, which by the way I think is ******* ridiculous.
Then you've got this for example talking about referee inconsistency and the all blacks feeling hard done by, http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11885901

The same article also implies Itoje should have been carded, and also refers to something "nasty" Sinkler said to TJ Perenara at the end of the game as causing a "sore spot" for the all-blacks.

Really? I know our media are pretty terrible but is the new zealand sport media incapable of not blowing up any slight perceived insult into something bigger?
The media are dicks.
Where did Hansen say it was debatable?
Most of that article is speculation about why the all blacks should feel aggrieved.
So I wouldn't say they feel grievance apart from with themselves.
They want to win. No matter what the reasons if they don't win they will still feel they should have. That is why Hansen was trying so hard to suggest they played well and the red card had a big impact; he is afraid of how much his team are going to beat themselves up

As soon as his injury was announced it was said that he'd be returning home shortly after the 2nd test. Don't know at whose initiative, but I think that's pretty usual practice. And to be honest his priority is probably getting some proper treatment on his injury.
