Stormers really need a win, I can't think of any home games against foreigners that we need to worry about and if we can beat the Sharks, Bulls, Cheetahs at home, and aim to win 3/4 away (very doable) we're still in with a big shot. We have had a rough start so far with, the Sharks, Bulls, Brumbies, Chiefs, Crusaders and Cheetahs away so I don't think we should be counted out just yet.

Nothing wrong with Lambie as he never was the Sharks pivot. I wish people would stop blaming number 10's if their attack look flat. Sharks used Freddy as their pivot and when he is not there use the 9 to control things like the Bulls did with Du Preez

I am not wholly blaming him, but pointing out changes in his game.
We also have no inside centre, and an outside centre in bad form.

Our problem is similar to that of the Stormers. we have no centers who get the wingers into action. Steyn now shifted to full-back and we had Bosman against the Stormers, which is a save bet, but still a long way from top level. Whitehead might be the dark horse this team needs. Lambie cannot distribute the ball to the wingers himself. Jordaan is nowhere near the form needed to perform at Super Rugby level, either. I rather see Pietersen at 13, but we don't have the luxury of shifting him with both Ludik and Mvovo out and Viljoen needed at full-back.

I am pretty happy with the position we are in considering the injuries:

- Bismarck du Plessis
- Willem Alberts
- Tim Whitehead
- Jean Deysel
- Jacques Botes
- Louis Ludik
- Lwazi Mvovo
- Butch James (not a starter but his injury forces Lambie to play 80 minutes)

All in all, we are doing quite well without these players but if we want to really go for it come play-off time, we need these guys back.

I really like Paul, and think he will develop into an excellent outside centre. He looks unsure of his role at this moment.

Rumours of JP being injured as well... We must bring Riaan into the XV, and possibly Gouws. Ndungane looks frankly terrible, while Sithole and Robinson are far from SR level.

Well, maybe we should give Heimar Williams (Sharks -21 captain) a shot at center. We still have good old Marius Joubert. I can't imagine him being much worse than Jordaan at the moment. Jordaan needs some time to get back to his old form. Give him some chances coming off the bench.

Jordaan to the wing could be an option if we need bodies out wide.
I'd like to see Heimar given a chance. Tyler Fisher is an option long-term, but let him stay with Sharks XV for now.

Stormers are playing with 2 inside centers and a smaller forward pack. Wingers can hang out wide but if they are quality they are going to go look for work like Habana popping up everywhere. Its just Reinach is not controlling the game good enough. Otherwise Lambie should go stand flat and Reinach should look for him everytime to make the decisions.
