Super Rugby: Sharks vs. Stormers in Durban (02/03/2013)

I noticed Eze did not even reply back to me on a private mail to him wishing the Sharks good luck for the year:(
Sorry that the CC final 2012 had to ruin our friendship;)

Ah, sorry man. So caught up with work, I often read PM's and think of replying once I am back at my desk, but when I actually arrive, I forget...

Best wishes to your Stormers as well. 2012 was a monster year for you guys with almost every prize there is to win. Only the Super Rugby ***le was missing. I can't wait for an all-SA final. Let it be Stormers-Sharks this time. or Sharks-Stormers, but I prefer to play in Cape Town since our finals where we are favorites, always go the way of the visitors (2007 SR final, 2012 CC final)

sniff, it was on gmail but alas, let's be buds again on Monday, after the WAR

Am I happy with the match 22? Not rally.

- The backline is the best in the country at the moment, no need for change there
- To see Botes on the bench in favor of Deysel is difficult to accept. Botes was phenomenal last weekend and we need a real fetcher with Bismarck still out
- Seeing Ndungane on the bench makes sense, but I would like to see some new blood coming through for the wings.

How? He came on and missed two tackles, almost singlehandedly costing us the match (thank god for Meyer Bosman). Viljoen can cover standoff, wing, and fullback, play him.

It makes sense in a way he offers experience and his brain fart on defense was just once. I would be the last one to admit it, but Ndungane is usually very good on defense, better than Mvovo

Never bought the 'offer experience' thing. I'll pick the best player for the task. Ndungane is also limited to wing, poor for the bench.
Mvovo's defence isn't as awful as it once was. I'd rather see Viljoen or Prinsloo play.

Prinsloo!!! That's the name I was looking for! He played pretty good against WP in the Currie Cup. He can cover full-back and wing. Either him, Viljoen or Heimar Williams. With Williams, you can Always shift Jordaan to the wing if necessary.

Remember CC 2011 and Gouws Prinsloo?
If you say it enough, Plum will do it.

Game of the round IMO, and I've just changed my mind to the Sharks... geez this is a hard one

I hope Craig Burden gets his face rubbed off in this one; he cost me a fantasy rugby round last week with his on again, off again not-really-making-any-impact game.

The only good thing so far is JP Pietersen's kicking.

Wait. Wot? Nil-nil? *checks...yup, ball's oval* Whew! For a sec there I thought it was a football match.

das

That game so boring!

The only one trying to play is Stormers...
