Yeah, Sharks should have taken the fixture at home against the Bulls. Now they HAVE to beat them at Loftus to stake a real claim for a play-off spot. Waratahs, Lions and Cheetahs should be wins but all three of those fixtures now seem less certain to me if the Sharks don't come up with better performances; especially the Waratahs and Cheetahs fixture.
Bulls have it tougher than the Sharks as they have the Stormers in CT where the Sharks should pick up 5 points aginst the Lions. Both have the Cheetahs and Waratahs and while the Sharks are ahead by 3, if the Bulls beat them at Loftus they might just get ahead. Both could still miis the play-offs in any case mid you, though the other teams also have really tough fixtures:
Reds, Blues, Stormers and Crusaders have probably dne enough to feel safe for a play-off spot though the Reds vs Cru, Cru vs Blu matches will mean the others might catch up to at least one of these teams. The Chiefs would do the SA teams a helluva favor if they manage to upset the Crusaders and Reds.
The Waratahs have a tough finish facing the Sharks, Bulls and Highlanders. Brumbies should be 4 points bagged though. If the SA teams both beat them I'd expect the Waratahs might just miss it. the Highlanders have 2 tough (Blues and Waratahs) and two easy games (Lions and Force).
I don't see the Cheetahs or Chiefs as contenders for a play-off spot but they might spoil some of the contenders' chances. So, I guess in effect I see it as a tussle between 4 teams for 2 spots; the teams being the Waratahs, Highlanders, Sharks and Bulls. So the games between them (Sha vs War, Bul vs War, Bul vs Sha and War vs Hig) will be non-negotiable if they want to make a bid for the ***le.
