I hope the Force prove me wrong and show that they are not only in the competition to grant the Reds and Brums 10 points a year.

Considering the beat the Reds already this season I think they've done that, didn't they beat the Saders this season too.

Reds just to balanced to loose this one
Yes Force showing commitment but last weekend was a good reflection on where they stand ito the top sides is Aus

The commentators are talking about Horwill going from the side in a maul and one of them mentions "Ali Williams did the exact same thing and got away with it against the Stormers" - because all New Zealanders are cheats and this fact is always relevant, even in an Australian derby match, and should be mentioned at every opportunity.

I am imagining it or are the Ausie teams playing not to loose rather than go full out for the win.
With 2mins left both were kicking the ball up the field

The reds in the last 20 minutes of most games are weaksauce. They got two lucky wins against NZ opposition a couple of weeks back because the NZ teams were simply inept.

I wouldnt be suprised to see this team drop out of finals contention by the end of round robin matches. That said they probably get to play the rebels again so that will be an easy win.

There is a lot of tongue in cheek humor that goes on in the commentary box, Kearns, Marto, Kafe etc have known eachother for years, they are mates and they joke around a lot. they like a bit of banter to keep things interesting. The comment you mentioned is meant to be a joke, it's irrelevance to the context of the game being played is the funny part.

That might be true, but it's still pretty annoying to be a Blues supporter listening to Australian commentary!
