haha i got a response like this when i first rocked up to this forum 2. These guys get the same posts everyday from new members who think its the first time its been written. dont take it to heart

If World league is still included (an improved version) I'll be pretty happy with that

the fact of the matter is no one really knows for sure! not even the producers know the game's fate at this stage of development.

I have said it before. HB had a clear objective for the game about one month back before the sidhe announcement. Now that the studio faces competition, OTHER factors influence the development of the game... suddenly you're not the only boss on the market and someone else wants a piece of the pie. The devs will put all they can in this game, and the marketing departments will rethinking their strategies.

to be honest i would probably buy the game without world league but it would be a much better game if it was included. please HB, confirm or deny.

Not concerned that there is no manager mode. They have a very tight budget. These sort of things can be added to future games. For god sakes just be happy a rugby game is finally coming to the PS3.

Although I must say if there's no World League mode or some new mode then the game could get kind of boring. If there was only the tournaments, play now and online to play it would be kind of short. Once tournaments were completed the game would get boring apart from online....where you can test your skills against the best. I guess online would replace the world league mode if there is none.

However in saying that I'm buying the game....probably pre-ordering it. It's the first rugby game to the PS3 and it will be good fun while trying to complete certain things. Just be grateful that someone is making a rugby game for the PS3. There was a period that it looked unlikely that anyone would. It's better to start out basic and get better and better. It means every time they release a ***le it will be an improvement on the last thus meaning people are happier. They can't come out with guns blazing and make a strong game with such a low budget. Anyways if they did that it would be very hard to improve. HB will slowly get bigger budgets for every new rugby ***le.

Be happy man....

Thing is longevity of the game can only be extended with more features, IMO having an online mode plus some form of a season feature (eg. an improved world league, managers mode etc..) will get a better reception and adds to re-playability of the game. In terms of the budget - I have had a stint making games and from my experience if the company really has a passion and a true desire to make a top game, then the budget will definitely not be the only deciding factor in making a game that truly stands out amongst others. Time will tell which of the next-gen Rugby games will be better as it is still early days. Thumbs up for Sidhe for creating the competition - it makes for an interesting battle where both companies will have to bring their A-game.

decent fights..not the crappy pushing ones
or buttons to start fights or buttons to fight ;)

like fifa...just be one player for the match ;)

be the ref? ;)

able to pick which players run in too fight ? ;)

set a fight tactic ? ;-)

like one in all in or break it up ?? ;)

more penalties like illegal binding-holding on-off feet- in at side- abusing ref ;) (add 10 metre on)

and at the lineout if the ball isnt thrown straight then youn should get the option of lineout again or scrum..not a penalty ;-)

Do you like fights?

Do you like fights?

i guess so :L but if there are fights they should be at a point where there is a lot of penalties against a team so the team is pressured and annoyed :L what do people think?

I love it. In NHL my friends and I always fight at the end of a game (to change it up) or if you are losing by a lot. Once the game is out of my reach I always just change my tactic to "Sending a Message" I try and start fights, draw penalties, and straight up injure people. It allows for a different aspect of the game and you can get a couple good laughs out of it.

Maybe they could combine a RUGBY game with MMA! that way you get the best of both worlds! and players would get selected on their fighting attributes as well as their Rugby skills! :D

im abit gutted that theres no manager mode but to be fair im just glad we are getting a RUGBY game for the PS3/Xbox!!
