It seems there is no thread regarding the Stormers. Two informations regarding the team today:
1- first they might leave (as well as the Western Province) the Newlands stadium to play in the Cape Town Stadium which was built for the Soccer World Cup in 2010.
2- many transfers this year and even if the squad for Super Rugby isn't known completely yet, some departures and promotions for youngsters are official.

Departures:
- Ricky Januarie (Lyon OU, France)
- Francois Louw (Bath Rugby, England)
- Adriaan Fondse (Newcastle Falcons, England)
- Conrad Jantjes (possibly Bayonne, France)
- Paul Bosch (Montpellier HR, France)
- JJ Engelbrecht & Johan Sadie (Bulls, South Africa)
- Pieter Louw & Earl Rose (released)
- Ethienne Reynecke (Connacht, Ireland)
- CJ Van der Linde (Lions, South Africa)
- Anton Van Zyl (Stade Français, France)
- Tim Whitehead (Sharks, South Africa)

Arrivals:
- Deon Carstens (Saracens, England)
- Joe Pietersen (Bayonne, France)
- Gerhard Van den Heever (Bulls, South Africa)

Internal promotion from Western Province: Marcel Brache, Nizaam Carr, Demetri Catrakilis, Eben Etzbeth, Berton Klaasen, Siya Kolisi, Quinn Rous & Willem Van Der Walt

There are also rumours that Lwazi Mvovo migned sign from the Sharks and JP du Plessis from Melbourne Rebels

Complete provisionnal squad with details here

Their potential move to Cape Town/ Greenpoint if one is still living in the past Stadium is similar to the current Sharks situation with Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Niether will move I think, CT Stadium is a good one, but on the other side of the mountain, an absolute nightmare to get to (not that Newlands isn't) and will require the Stormers/ WP to pay hefty fees to use it, where as Newlands and surrounding premises is the headquarters of SA rugby.

Well,

Newlands and Kings Park have so much history that neither will be easily abandoned. Moses Madiba stadium is not even suited for rugby with the stadium being completely open behind the goalposts.
