Ha I do remember Neath clamoring for a place in the Challenge Cup around 2008ish because they were ridiculously far ahead of the other Welsh Prem sides.

That said, probably better for the game to expand and let more Shield teams in, even if it'd mean more hammerings initially - though they've been competing to a very respectable standard so far!
