Ah yes the head protection that Herschel walker wore to keep his head safe.
I don't believe he deliberately targeted his opponents head,he built up momentum to effectively clear the ruck at that speed he was unable to be aware of his opponent's head position at the moment of impact.

More likely 4 years banged upIf I drive at 80km/h around a school playground I would be unable to be aware of the position of playing children. I reckon I'd cop at least a 4 week driving ban if I hit one of the fuckers though.
Head impacts are part and parcel of rugby and always will be.We won't end up with a sport at all after everyone has sued for injuries sustained, everything must be done to protect the players, not only for the health but the continuation of the sport.
Not when they are deliberateHead impacts are part and parcel of rugby and always will be.
Could you also explain how the red card has ruined the game?Head impacts are part and parcel of rugby and always will be.
Scotland just answered for me.Could you also explain how the red card has ruined the game?
So your defence is he flew in without looking where is opponant was? And the face he had clear line of sight to where the player was is lost on you? The players position didnt change much at all.I don't believe he deliberately targeted his opponents head,he built up momentum to effectively clear the ruck at that speed he was unable to be aware of his opponent's head position at the moment of impact.
So basically you feel that players should be put in more danger for your entertainment. Got it, nice to know that you believe players should be sacrificing their health for your entertainment.Scotland just answered for me.
Exactly they cannot be completly removed from the game....do you not realise this is the reason why the laws are changed.. to stop players recklessly diving in and hitting a player in the head.Head impacts are part and parcel of rugby and always will be.
Yellow, didnt fly in and smash a player in the face with alot of force yet he did clear him out illegally.Another red, must be !
