I presume your putting of Morrison at 13 and Ansbro at 12 was an accident?

Otherwise its what we will be seeing, unless Robinson deems we will need that pack for the Georgia game.

Oh, and depending on how Cusiter has come along, hopefully he'll get a full game before the Argie/ Englandshire games

Will Park not start at out half for the Scots?

I hope not. Jackson sort of became our first choice fly-half in the latter stages of the 6 Nations, more out of Parks being, well, not so good to put it kindly, than Jackson having stellar performances. However we may yet see Parks as our starting 10, all depends on what kind of game Andy Robinson is looking at playing.

I doubt Jackson will start against Argentina/ England, we can't compete with these teams for prolonged phases, especially on our ball, so we need to hoof the ball clear.

Really looking forward to seeing how Gray performs in this tourney, I genuinely think he could develop into one of the worlds best locks.

Yeah. Was rushing and put the team selection down quickly.

Possibly, It will be a toss up between the pair. Overall I think Jackson is the better player but against better team when we will be under pressure for large spells I would probably start Parks to hoof it clear.

Who will kick, Parks or Paterson?

Paterson short range (usually under 40m) then Parks long range (anything over 40m). That's what they've usually done in the past anyway.

This. Although if Patterson is on the park he should do all the kicking as their are not many better than him.

That's a strong team - Richie Vernon to tear it up!

Going to try my best to watch this :p
Think I'll watch this, snooze through Fiji/Namibia then get back up for the France and England games, before sleeping all afternoon

Romania is playing with their best XV.
I don't know nothing about Scotlands XV (is this the best?).

I will watch the game. I will have to get up at 4 o'clock in the morning :D.

Pretty much our strongest XV too, I know some Scots were calling for another 'scrumming lock' like Hines or MacLeod instead of Kellock for these first two games, considering their pedigree in the scrums, and our lack there of in the front.

Really, really happy to see Lamont S starting at 12, behind Gray was definitely one of our best players in the 6 Nations, we're going to need him so we can get the ball moving around the park and make sure the opposition pack, but front-row in particular, are tired whenever we come to a scrum.

The thing I am left asking is this. Does Robinson intend on playing the same team against Georgia? By general consensus and the amount of Western Europe based players Georgia has, they look to be the harder game of these 2 in just 4 days. Some of our players can barely last out a game, never mind two in the space of a matter of days! Might be that Robinson is looking at playing Hines in the Georgia, hence why he is not starting, possibly the same with Murray.

Looking at previous matches between these two in world cups, on each occasion the Scottish openside flank has scored hat-tricks, Ally Hogg in 2007 and John Jeffrey in 1987. Mon the Barclay, keep the record intact! B)

I will have a few hours sleep when I get in from school. Go into tesco about midnight for food then back home for the games.

I'll silence my phone, unplug the internet and watch the re-run at 8:30 and think of it as it's live :D

Will be at this match tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Saw Romania train yesterday. They are a great bunch of guys, but their training was pretty soft in a lot of places to be honest. I really want Romania to do well as they are the only side playing two games in my town, so deserve some support. I hope they can surprise, but honestly they trained like a team that was worried everyone was going to get a strain or injury from it, so just wanted to go softly into it. Perhaps they've had all the intensive prep before coming to NZ.

At this stage I think Scotland will be leading by about 10pts or so at half-time and then will clean out Romania as the game goes on to finish about 40 in front. I hope I'm wrong and Romania can step it up. :)

Yeah, I remember the assistant coach saying they can't afford to lose more players in training so they'll just train to get used to the pitch, weather and set their bio clocks right. Lately we've seen so many injuries like these boys were made out of china glass.

But thanks for the support anyway, we owe you a beer.stejar doza.jpg
