Reckon Georgia has a hope of competing in the six nations one day? Italy was not much better than Georgia is now when they joined. A better idea would be to add a tier 2 six nations with promotion/relegation with tier 1.

Yes, Tier 2 nations with Georgia, Romania, USA, Canada... maybe Japan (if they want, but I doubt it) and maybe Russia too. 4, 5 or 6 Nations...
It will be very competitive and interesting tournament itself

Well Canada and Usa us never going to happen in the 6 nations....well never say never, but as things stand.

It already messes with the club season enough without players being flown across the atlantic, adjusting to the time difference and heading back for the sake of one match. And I'm pretty sure that neither the Canadian nor the US unions can afford the cost of making return flights across the atlantic either. Same goes for Japan.

Maybe a pacific based competion including the USA and Canada and Japan plus the Pacific Islands teams would be mroe practical. And If the IRB encouraged a couple of different top tier nations to tour that area each year and the same goes for visiting east europe every now and then.
