[RWC2023] Ireland vs Scotland (07/10/2023)

So if Scotland can notch up 48 unanswered points in the second half, that could see South Africa knocked out? 😂

Awesome first half from the world number one side- they look very good.

Gerard Butler gonna rally them up at half time.

Depends on what the Irish are thinking

Just saw the replay of try 1- interference for me and should be a pen to Scotland.

That said, they just have almost everything covered - so efficient.

Bigger comeback than Twickenham needed now….

Can't pretend some of the decisions have been balanced but Ireland when they hit their stride are just something else to behold. It's a fitness and physicality that's just astonishing.

As we said after the 6N there is a big gap between Ireland/France and the others.

Did you not see Irelands last game??

Yeah, great game.

I was saying it more tongue in cheek that people were saying France and New Zealand might be uncooked going into quarters as they only had one competitive game in the group. Whilst South Africa and Ireland won't because they had Scotland in the group. But Scotland are being blown apart by Ireland. It was actually a compliment to Ireland!

Reported for hate speech, any criticism of the country that hosts pretty much every rugby entity in the tax haven, will not be tolerated!!!

This is the first time ever that Scotland have conceded four first-half tries in a World Cup match.

It's also just the second time that they have failed to score any points in the first half of a World Cup match.

half time question, could Farrell, Catt and co do this with most top teams in the world? How much is it the method or the men?

Really thought both of those happened vs Ireland in 2019

It's a combination...

So, having all academy products able to stay at their clubs through larger budgets is a positive.

Also having those players get a tax rebate for staying with those high playing clubs adds to that.

A provincial system that has heritage and culture.

Dublin becoming the best tax haven in the west has helped th IRFU.

A clever recruitment policy ensuring overseas talent qualifies as Irish.

And a talented coaching set up.

There are a host of factors but these are just some that help

Lowe and Hanson both off. Hopefully for Ireland it is just a precaution and they can play the quarter final.

Sheehan making Schoeman his ***** is the entire ***le decider as far as I'm concerned. Ireland have won. What happens from here on out is a farce
