[RWC2019][Semi-Final 1] England vs. New Zealand (26/10/2019)

Sitting in the buffet in a hotel on The Algarve waiting for the rest of the travelling party to get up. Unfortunately, they're permanently Welsh with chips on various shoulders.

Please, England, just win so I can spend the rest of the day on the beach, winding them up.

Agreed. More of a final than a semi. Whoever wins this will lift the cup I reckon.
Ooh, dangerous.
Depends how much emotional energy is spent getting over this hurdle.

Anyway, it must have been over quarter century since I last had white coffee. I can see why, but...

Bière Blonde for the match itself methinks

Jiffy is doing BBC commentary for the rugby league right now (Tonga vs GB) which has started about an hour later than it should have, why would you schedule this for the same time as a world cup semi final? Silly. Also it's not full (being played in Hamilton, NZ) as apparently some fans have been advised not to attend allegedly due to internal RL politics? Or is it because of the obvious?

Anyway, imagine if it clashed with Wales. Oh my, wonder if GB will play again during the world cup finals, Wales make it and Jiffy is contracted.

Nervous about our guys ability to come from behind with so many less experienced players. At least the weight of the nation isn't as heavy these days though.

have a bad feeling Scott will get carded too
Quality, I was tempted to go to that. I bloody love Image of the Invisible by Thrice!

Get on the craft beer then haha
Catchup guys @TommiG88 your musical tastes don't fit with the team you support. England play 4/4 mid pace for a full 80 minutes, most of which is filler to be honest.

Gotta say: it does feel weird being in a semi-final after the last couple of world cups

What happens at 11am!? I need to know!

It starts at 2am here so I feel I'll be uninterrupted.
I have other plans in my amazing life....it's a complete **** actually but hearing a talk from Sir Patrick Stewart is one the few things that tops a NZ V Eng semi....I've managed to find a bar showing the game that's a stones throw away.
