Those games where New Zealand or Ireland etc smash a team by 60 plus points are boring and now we are going to have more of them just to make sure USA make their own World Cup.

I thought people wanted more tries per game, this is one way to achieve it

As every business, the need to show a growth is a must. In the case of a RWC, I could say that even if the main 10 unions bring the biggest cut of the cake, the revenue will be stuck at some point, so the only way to improve is to bring new markets even if they are not yet so competitive on the field as we would like to.

Perhaps at RWC63 we will see a 32 unions tournament... just for the cash and not for the development of the sport.

Says who? If you are a fan from say Romania or USA and you travel to a world cup why wouldn't you want to watch your country play SA or NZ?
