Russian rugby

I am a Halfback(9)/Winger, he is a Fly-half (10)/ Inside Centre (12), and before we've both played the highest grades availiable to us in QLD

Krasny Yar and Enisey-STM now for 9 foreign players (limit 6 per order), so they are unlikely to be able to offer a contract. I would suggest that two of the club:
Kuban Krasnodar (the south of Russia, there is a very good climate, close grief sea, in a year there will be a Winter Olympics Sochi 2014 - for Avstarlians best option for life), a young club debut in the PRL and put high goals, there is have money, there are several players of the Russian national team rugby-7 and rugby-15. Head coach Alekseenko simultaneously is the head coach of the Russian national rugby-7).
Agro Kazan (club sets the task to take at least 3 in the PRL, minus they play on the plastic grass)
And if you are ready to go to minimum money, then have the option to Spartak Moscow.

Spartak Moscow needs some good backs, they have good forwards, an impressive back row but backs are very poor, maybe you can try to contact this club too

I will try and get in contact with as many clubs as I can, it's my primary objective to play over there. Hopefully it will work out.

Good illustration of some things that are wrong with Russian rugby in this video. Totally empty stadium and amateur coverage of the match.

Totally agree, now in Russia, all criticized the Rugby Federation. They are a disgrace Russian rugby, save money on matches. We have long known what our climate, Sochi - it's not rugby town. And in Moscow, Krasnoyarsk and other cities, we can can not play until May. We are told that FIRA not stand playing in May or June. Well, who prevents us spend every match in February in Siberia in-15-20C? Spaniards will be in shock and the next time FIRA will be forced to make concessions. We are now in a disadvantage, because the games in Sochi actually play on neutral ground with empty stands. And in a game with Georgia in Sochi, the Georgians, who live close will to more.

Today in Turkey on a training camp held a mini-tournament with 3 clubs. Halves were successively for 30 minutes and no gate (considered only tries). Enisey-STM played without 12 players (8 players now in the Russian NT, Simplikevich, Bezverkhov and Selskiy injured, Bumbry in New Zealand).

Enisey-STM (A) 25-20 Armia Tbilisi (2 halves x 30 min)

12.Dimitry Simonov 13.Stanislav Bondarev

Enisey-STM (В) 0-10 Agro Kazan (30 min)

Alexander Pervukhin:

"The game with Georgians met all our expectations - was a good sparring: the game was on a collision course, the team showed decent for this time of physical shape, a half inning well, extremely hard, worked in the defense. But in the second half started to affect deficit our first line - for us now is to problematic than even lack Bumbry and Simplikevich. See for yourself: Arkhip Dima went to Ospreys, in the Russian national team - Pronenko, Tsnobiladze and Zykov, undergoing rehabilitation after injuries Bezverkhov and Selskiy, and besides, Volodya Botvinnikov - missed due to injury late last season - have not had the match practice. So the cost to replace Sergei Novoselov - and we immediately started having problems with static, and released in the first line of young guys in the matches played so high still a bit early. In general, the Georgians have learned from the situation to the maximum: we missed it three tries, two - from their assigned combat, and one of its "corridor" ten meters from our record book. But in the end end of the meeting still remains for us - line of attack "Yenisei" had a good attack and under the curtain game Anton Rudoy has brought a decisive attempt ... "

Why's the video footage of Russian home games always so terrible?

Bad whether in winter + Sochi non rugby town (so empty stands) + very poor job rugby federation, so TV does not show rugby

Briefly opinion of Russian fans "Kopyev out (president RRU)."

Why can't Russia play in Moscow? There must be heated pitches there that the team can use anytime during the year.

Why can't Russia play in Moscow? There must be heated pitches there that the team can use anytime during the year.

Because that long winter. Even if you take the Lokomotiv stadium for 100 thousand dollars for rent in Moscow heated (to be understood because of the long winters in Russia grass grows much slower, so care fields are very expensive and not a football club is not allowed to play at their stadium winter stranger, because that field can be spoiled for one game), the winter will not be spectators. Rugby season in Russia (May-October). I'll give you an example: In the late 90's - early 00's Russian team played several games in Krasnoyarsk in the period from May to September (when the calendar was good for us): Portugal, Romania, USA, Italy, Ireland (the audience of these games was from 10 to 20 thousand). The last match in Krasnoyarsk Russia - Georgia was played April 12, 2008, but whether was bad (snow), the audience was only 4000. We suffer because of the calendar, because if team is in such horrible conditions, with empty stands, it is not interesting TV, so no sponsors and fans .... This leads to problems in the promotion of rugby. Second - is the lack of work on the part of Russian Rugby Federation, came to us a man who said that they directs all its efforts on the organization of the World Cup Rugby-7, and the rugby-15 they do not care ...
How to solve the problem?
1. Kopiev dismissal and his accomplices from the Federation. They can replace several club presidents (fans offered Pervukhin (Enisey), Losaberidze(Spartak), former Bear Grachev who big French expirience ...).
2. Change the calendar ENC(2 options)
a) transfer only home games of Russia in May-June (at least 3-4 out of 5), the all rest games play February-March
b) changes to all teams, for example: 1-3 rounds to play in March 4-5 rounds to play in the last two weeks of May before the June tests (3-4 Russian home games to bet on May)

I assure you that if you do so, then we have a match between Russia in different cities, with attendance of at least 5-10 thousand at first, then more and better TV coverage (now Panorama TV bought several new machine HD 10 to 24 cameras specifically for the 2014 Sochi Olympics and FIFA WC2018, other times they are work in the all country and cover all of the city where there are clubs PRL). Also recently created a new sports channel, with coverage of the audience over 15 million people, specifically for the show less popular sports in Russia (rugby, handball, water polo ...). Panorama has worked at the finals of PRL in October in Krasnoyarsk, these games have been shown on the new Sports channel. If we play at home in May and June that really show our games and the biggest sports channel Russia 2 (a free channel available to an audience of over 100 million people). Usually this shows football, ice hockey, Olympic sports, but the end of May-June championships in these sports are not carried out, and they can show rugby - of course, if it is a normal stadium and picture. Incidentally, they will be shown in the end of June the Rugby World Cup 7.

Last year Krasny Yar extended agreement with Crusaders, but this year, the club decided to take a break and not to fly to New Zealand on training camp.

After vocation players came out on January 9 and training here for a month in Krasnoyarsk: indoor athletic arena in Central stadium; pool, sports halls and fitness sports complex "Krasny Yar".

One training camp - from 6 to 29 March in Turkey (test matches 16, 23 and 28 Mt)
Two training camp - from 5 to 23 April in Portugal (tests ?)

April 23 the team takes off from Lisbon to Moscow, where they will play 1 Round of the Russian Cup against RC Zelenograd (D2).

Slava plans only one a foreign training camp (in Portugal or Turkey).

Agro Kazan officially changed the name of the club. They returned to the old name "Strela", under which the team played in the Rugby Union (from 67 to 89 years) and Rugby League (90 to 2009). Reserve team will names "Agro" and take part in the semi-profissional D2.

Enisey-STM returned after first training camp in Turkey. Now players practice in confined areas in Krasnoyarsk, such as training in the athletic arena.

The club expects that by second camp in Turkey (March) will play against the champion of Romania, participants Amlin Cup 2013\14 - Club Timisoara, but the Romanians at the last moment refused.
Steel known the dates for third training camp in Ireland: April 5 against Connacht A and April 8 against Munster A, also had the opportunity to play with Ulster, but could not find time for this game ...
