Rule changes to make things better

For all you youngsters out there my Rugby was played in an era of: no lifting in the line out, tip tackling was a good thing, punching was seen as part and parcel of the game and if you laid on the ball you got kicked and stamped to bits..

So what rules should we stuff in to sort out some of the more negative aspects of the game as it is now? To make it a better spectacle?

Scrums need sorting my plan would be get the front rows down then form up the scrum...

Anything else Lord knows..
 
I agree if a player is lying all over the ball nothing a bit of rucking won't fix. Imagine all the battle scars McCaw would wear.

You sir are my kind of man!! We both enjoyed proper rugby where men could be men rather than padded muscular hard hitting robots!!!!
 
i would have no problems with a bit of shoeing coming back, no downward motion, no joints, necks or heads.
