Jonah Lomu fun back in the day when i was still a small Kid; but playing it today...just really crap experience, like cheap game u can get on ur phone 4 free. I love realistic games like Fifa 11 on 360 and PS3. Will not get FIFA 12 this year as all i will be playing is HB and 505 games Rugby World cup game...so keen. Can't play fifa anymore without thinking...how cool would it be if this was in rugby form. Only few more Months!!

Totally respect your opinion on JLR playing it nowadays, as I know many people agree with you. Personally I still love it and I think it still offers the most rounded Rugby gameplay experience available. Good implementation of rucks, mauls that can be initiated in open play, variants of passing, offloads, well designed lineouts and quick line outs, as well as having a clear difference between a back and forward meaning you couldn't just dive 6 meters like superman and smash a huge lock with a tiny winger. Yes, the gameplay was very quick and it was incredibly hard to see what was going on when you first play it, but that is part of the beauty of it IMO; because it had such a steep learning curve, together with the fantastic gameplay.

But, the real point I was making about JLR and ISS Pro Evo is that these games have set the benchmarks for their time in terms of gameplay. I wanted to show all the people who state that "20 teams is rubbish OMG!!!!!1 HB have lost a customer here!!!!!!111" that they clearly have their priorities wrong, and show them the games that have been hailed as classics in the past that had not a stitch of licensing. If you don't have good gameplay to start with then you don't have anything really, and I know for a fact there will be far more threads made complaining about this game if has poor gameplay than if it lacks a few licences.

Yep, don't give a rats about licenses, if the gameplay is realistic and can immerse you into the experience by giving the look and feel of a real game of Rugby and include good depth, then that is the game I want to play.

The League games have pretty much failed to do this up till now, lets hope these games, as much as I despise the code (lol ) can do a good job of replicating what we see on our screens each week.

what? you cant honestly blame us. we were expecting a detailed and exciting rugby game. 20 international teams? big deal. HB have totally let us down and im pretty much gutted with being excited for months and for this to be the outcome. poor.

20 teams ... so far ... there's a lot of chance this is going to change. What I don't get with people is that HB are unlikely in their first game announcement going to list all the features. They are going to realise bit by bit to keep it fresh. Suppose people want all the information now and then nothing for months, people will moan more. You feel HB can't win with some people.

Hey there, Even though there is only international teams and world cup im sure they will nail this game both graphics and game play should be top notch. Also im sure there will be alot more other features which they havnt mentioned yet such as classic matches, tri nations, bledisloe cup etc.. which should all be included. HB Studios are a fnatastic company and they definately will release an awesome game. so dont worry so much yeah haha

If this game only has 20 International teams (they could still announce more) I just hope that they get the gameplay right... That way when they make Rugby 2013 they'll be able to make a few adjustments to the gameplay and get the licenses for Super Rugby, Heineken Cup, ITM Cup, Currie Cup, Aviva Premiership, Top 14 and many more!!!

I think there will be all the competitions there were in Rugby 08, whether they are all licensed is something we have to wait and see. Thats what happens when there is more than one rugby game, the positive is that between HB and Sidhe's game all the major licenses should be covered also competition means both companies will be trying to make their game better than the other which means we will get 2 quality games hopefully.

Agree, very stupid; EA's loss is 505 games' gain...very confident it will be a proper, proper simulation of rugby(HB'S GAME) ; got a feeling Sidhe's game won't come close in terms of Visuals/graphics and realistic gameplay. HB...u guys rock!!!
