Rugby Championship: New Zealand - South Africa (15/09/2012)

6 missed kicks by Steyn now. Can we PLEASE see Lambie or Goosen now?

Aaron Smith got owned by Habana there.
And NZ are having their first penalty attempt at goal in the game. Enough to level up.

Yes, but much of the time he's wrong. Just plain wrong. His explanations are wrong. His comments are wrong. He just talks like he gets paid for every word, to justify points that are wrong. It's like he's not content to be wrong once, he needs to use up 30 seconds being wrong. I hate him. His voice annoys me as well. He was my favourite halfback for years - but he's the worst commentator ever.

I don't know enough about the game to pick up when he's wrong, though I have heard him mention all the texts he gets when he's wrong, and joke about not changing his mind, so perhaps it's his stubbornness that I actually like. I also like that he doesn't seem to play favorites - like this try by SA, he sounded more excited than the Boks' fans! I just find him amusing, I suppose.

Also, compared to my husband, Justin is an absolute mute. Guess I'm just used to chatty blokes. ;)

15-8 - had Steyn not missed so many kicks, they'd have over 20 points by now.

Bulls are killing us. Morne kicks for 60 minutes, Greyling gets a stupid, but deserved, yellow card.

Is Heyneke Meyer watching this?

lol, lucky to get away with yellow. That'll be upgraded and he'll be suspended. The match officials only get 1 look at it though. Overall fair call has been made. McCaw deserved it anyway. (and of course he'll be happy with how that panned out)

Nah, get lost. No one deserves **** like that. The things McCaw has to deal with and to think he has never lashed back. Incredible individual.

Should have been a red. Dylan Hartley anyone?

First angle didn't look like much to it, but then on the replay when you see his elbow smash into McCaw's face...made me cringe. Hey, even Marshall changed his mind when he saw the replay, saying he was lucky only to get a yellow. (See, nick, he's not as bullheaded as you think... ;) ;) )

There you have a kick!!! Man, Goosen. Finally getting on the field... Now only 4 points. Just get Greyling back and go for the try and try to win this.

Justin Marshall has actually read his lawbook tonight, congrats to him. He got the key one in the first half where the AR incorrectly ruled out on the full when Habana touched it.

Yeah, it was a beauty. I won't even ask why he didn't start, or wasn't brought in immediately after the break.

If Morne Steyn is playing the next match, I won't watch. I cannot take another ping-pong fest where we give the ball away the whole time.

McCaw and Dagg were the only players who looked to have turned up for the All Blacks. Morne Steyn was the All Black's best player. Boks were robbed I feel, poor kicking and decisions that were not in their favour.

Read was good too but I actually thought Nonu was MotM.

Morne Steyn and his blue bull buddies (except Kruger) and their blue bull coach can all f... off.

AAARGH it's even more ....ing frustrating than the Pdivvy years, he had more success than Meyer, and Heineken I know you're going to say "Don't be cynical" or "don't be negative" "he must have a plan" BUT FFS IT'S BEEN 6 TESTS ALREADY WITH MORNE STEYN PLAYING ****, AND OUR GAMEPLAY NOT ...ING WORKING! Once we actually do try and run the ball we make ground and progress. BUT NOOOOOOOO AAARHGH

A bit of a lucky escape for the All Blacks I think ...Meyer has to start Goosen and pick anyone but Greyling. Habana played one of his best games in a while I think.

For the All Blacks, McCaw, Dagg, and Jane played well ... Nonu had a good secound half ... and Aaron Smiths try was pretty good too :)
