Rugby Championship: Argentina - New Zealand (29/09/2012)

Mark Lawrence retired from international rugby, I don't think he wants to anymore.

Yet Mark Lawrence is stuck reffing CC.
JM Hernandez with a penalty, 8-17.
Could be 13-17, just shows how crucial goal kicking is.

Mark Lawrence quit international refereeing. It was his own decision because he wants to be around his family more. For that exact same reason, he will retire completely after this season. I hope he gets the Currie Cup final as a last match to ref.

Ah damn, was hoping the Argies would at least keep it close. Completely? That sucks, I like Mark Lawrence as a ref, I think he's awesome.

The ref really isn't policing the game well. Seems like a lot of harsh decisions going against Los Pumas

Best referee in the world when it comes to communication. His son, Willie le Roux, will still be playing for a while though ;)

All Blacks are just tactically better this time around giving the pumas a bit of a lesson now. Dan carter is certainly still a step above cruden at test level.

Another penalty which should not be awarded to NZ

Tactically better? All 3 tries are the result of Argentina making mistakes.

That is uncanny.
Andy Campostagno and Lawrence were good together during the John Smit XV.

Savea with the bonus point. 8-30. Going to get nasty soon.

Wow this is turning into a disaster for Argentina after such a great start.

Edit: Guess I can go to the beer store now.

First try for NZ that was scored because of a good attack. Pumas are unlucky with Peyper as a referee.

Are you telling me that in wellington NZ played the correct game plan? In Wellington we walked blindly into the pumas defensive line at every chance. If you dont think this is tactically different to that game i dont know what to say!!

I do agree with you the payper has been harsh on a few calls to the pumas BUT this still would not make up this difference.

Hopefully they can fight back a little in the 2nd half, give the big crowd something to cheer about, this is incredibly sloppy from them.
