Worried by this. It has glitches in the trailer! The kick offs have the wrong team standing behind the kicker! One o the clips is Dan Cole doing an up and under!

the kicker is telling his teammates which way he is going to kick the ball in those scenes

Maybe the 7s mode? I think I saw the #7 kicking in another clip - I can't imagine they'd choose two clips of forwards kicking for the trailer.

Nope. They're facing the wrong way in the cut scenes there's 2 clips. One of them the person does the speak behind the hand bit to the other team!

It's definitely Dan Cole. Joe marler is behind him and there are two players with 13 on their shirts.

Oh dear, I didn't even notice the whole Dan Cole up and under moment. That was one of the other main problems of the previous games; no position seemed particularly specialist, and every player in every position seems to be able to do everything (kicks, chips, passing, tackling etc.) fairly well. Players also would stand out of position all the time, which became incredibly frustrating very quickly. You can only take your scrum half passing out of a ruck straight to a lock in the first receiver position so many times before your controller ends up embedded in your tv.

agreed and half the time even though your scrum half is available he just stands in the backline, and another play ends up at scrum half. fair enough if the scrum half is in the ruck but hes very rarely in position

I'll be getting the game and look forward to having a rugby game to keep me entertained. But the trailer is the only marketing they have and they made it look terrible. That's not a good sign for the game. A games trailer is usually 10 X better looking than the actual game, if that's the case here we are screwed.

This is what happened with the rugby league live 3 game... We could be doomed! None the less I shall give it a chance, do wish there was a damn demo though!!!

Same here, I enjoyed RC2 so I'm hopeful of this assuming they have fixed the issues... and on the bright side its not a rugby game made by BigBen.

To be fair, there are reasons for this:

1. the graphics look exactly the same as the last one, despite that game coming out in the previous generation of consoles and this supposedly being PS4/XBOX ready
2. the gameplay looks the same - among the listed features in the original press release were things like "crowds now wave flags!" and the rest is stuff like 7s and Be A Pro from RLL3 - nothing actually on game mechanics.
3. Massive delays and virtually zero communication on why (I know TruBlu have no clue when it comes to PR, but this was seriously pathetic)
4. Outdated licenses. Apparently a lot of the delays came down to some sort of stoush with the licenses, and the whole thing has taken so long that now the game is going to be released with jerseys and teams from 2015, which night not be a deal breaker normally, but with Super Rugby in particular it just feels poor given it's changed so dramatically over the past year as a competition.

The whole thing just reeks of sloppiness and a half-arsed cash grab that was designed to ride the RWC marketing wave before getting caught up in legal troubles.

Number 2 was RWC 2015, mixing things up. I get number 1 but you knew this since the announcement almost a year ago.

im a little more optimistic on the graphics actually. i know screenshots can be edited but if you look at the screenshots on the xbox marketplace they actually look really good. the character models are not much better but the stadium/pitch etc look really nice
