Rugby Challenge 3 confirmed

The player kicked with Retallick, can't blame the AI for user mistakes. I know it's tough to tolerate the audio but I guarantee that if you follow through you'll notice a lot of structural improvements and more realistic decision making on behalf of the AI.

the AI does worry me a bit as we'll be relying on it in be a pro mode, if the AI play like idiots then we might never get the ball if we play out wide, have to keep coming in field and pressing a button to call for the ball (assuming it works like RLL3 be a pro)

It looks identical to RC2.

Also, what is wrong with the Scottish Cannon guy? Why does he shout random incoherent statements like a mumbling infant? Fair play to him for actually putting in the work to get the content but why does he feel it is necessary to scream?

what seems odd to me with this situation is clearly EB games or whoever is producing the ***le where he is, have given him an early copy but surely there are restrictions in what he can do and say. they are not going to give him a game before realise if he could honestly say what he wants. its very likely he is not saying anything negative about the game as he is not allowed to, so i would take it with a grain of salt what he is saying regarding the game at the moment.

theres a couple of wales created teams already mate, they are pretty accurate too. i couldnt find any of our regions on there though. what i dont understand is people making aviva prem sides? i know line ups have changed slightly but it seems odd that people would want to create teams from scratch that are already licenced as when they have the game they would just need to transfer a couple of players from other teams to their team and it would be complete

Yeah the Wales ones are OK - I fancied giving my own a go though and think I might end up happier with my own effort. There's a Blues team on there at the very least, again OK but not fantastic so working on that too, hopefully will get them both done before release. I'd like to get all the regions done at some point - once you get into a flow it's not too bad and it's pretty fun if you manage to make a good one! I daresay we should probably start a thread for posting team/roster updates.

if you get them done let me know, cause im lazy, i'll just steal yours!

That's exactly the point, no stealing, just download and play, or improve and upload again if necessary, rate the best ones so they show at the top.

So... Thoughts on Be A Pro? Sounds like you have to use your own created player rather than an existing pro

He used to comment on this forum too, but then we quickly found out that some of the information he provided on his links weren't true/baseless/just rumours.

He is what we call a click-bait in trying to lure people to his youtube account and watch his videos, which usually doesn't show the correct game/product and he blabs on and on incoherently and people struggle to make out what he says, and if it's true or not.

My advice to you and anyone else for that matter, is to rather stay away from his posts and videos and rather stick to the authentic videos from the distributor/developers. There might not be a many videos as you might like, but at least its the correct information.

the unfortunate thing at the moment is he is the only one that has gameplay videos on youtube, he has shown be a pro too

I still read TheRugbyForum man haha, it is the best place on the Internet for anything rugby related. Just to your points

I did get one piece of information wrong, I apologised and I moved on. I also learnt to always have something sourced to report news or I would call it a discussion in a video, thus talking about a particular topic that i would like to see in a rugby game.

I think the issue here is that you never understood the point of my youtube channel.

Go ahead man stay away from my youtube videos, I am sure the last videos in the past few days are just rc2, be a pro, sevens right and I am tagging everything with rugby challenge 3 for views and youtube money.

Hi Dan, I personally think you've always seemed to be eager and enthusiastic and there's nothing at all wrong with that. I've not seen you share a whole lot of speculation as fact myself, but perhaps as you say you've maybe once or twice (in a long time) shared something incorrect. I think some of the views shared about you above are a little harsh.

It's just a request, but I would however ask if you could perhaps give something akin to a review and put yourself out there with your honest overall opinion on the quality of the game. You've had it long enough to form a reasonably accurate view of it's pros and cons and at this point it does seem that a summation of those is lacking a little.

Keep up the videos, a lot of people find them entertaining and informative, so take the negative opinions with a grain of salt as you're always going to get the negative with the positive. That's my thoughts for this post and I'll see you in another one. :p

has anyone other than cannon picked it up/ played it yet?
also @ScottishCannon does the game have the Varsity cup law variation or just normal 15s and the NRCs.

I've had it for months but I wasn't allowed to talk about most stuff. Just normal law and NRC scoring law variation.

Yes I have it. Appears to be just normal and NRC.

I am a little disappointed ATM. I thought they mentioned an all new career mode....it's exactly the same (no player improvement and just the drafting thing at the end of the season). The main aspect of career mode is starting young and improving them....no can do in this one.

Haven't played sevens or be a pro yet so can't comment about that but the game is exactly the same to me so far. Slightly better graphics and that's it. I've heard people say it feels different even if it doesn't look it - that's a lie. The only thing I've noticed is that you now how 2 mini games for conversions instead of the one.

Will keep playing but so far it feels the same and unchanged. At least it isn't offload central like the 1st one. It plays OK but I always thought that about the 2nd one.

OK so I'm halfway through a sevens match - they have got this spot on!!! Sevens works really really well! The only issue at this stage I'm noticing is the drop kick conversions are too easy - you get them from wide out etc. When as we know most are missed. Not too big of an issue.

Wow I'm really impressed in sevens and I'm not a fan of it in real life really!

yeah i also use to hate watching sevens ( i don't mind playing it but I hate reffing it... scrums are impossible to ref and should be replaced by free kick)
i've started to watch it like basketball instead of rugby and have really started to enjoy it for athleticism and the way they play the passing lanes
I understand that sevens is easier to make on a video game since its easier to coordinate 14 people than 30

My dream would to be a sevens only game that was based off of NBA2k when it comes to franchise mode and the pickup games... they could have 32 fake teams and everytime you did a franchise mode ther would be a fantasy draft.

I only ever played RC1, while I enjoyed it the offloads were a bit of a buzz kill. Would you say it's worth getting RC3 seeing as I didn't play RC2? Quite keen on this game but don't want to waste money.

Can't believe they haven't improved the carrier mode. What the hell have they been doing over the development. I've defiantly not spending £50, when I've got RC2 I never play because of the same issues in new game.

Bunch of idiots making this game.
