RUGBY 24 announced...

Very much feels like they haddnt even started the game last year when in reality they said it was only the photo images left.

Either way this game is a long way from being any good looking at the reviews and videos online.

roadmap is out for next two months or so of early access. If you were one of those hoping for a career mode anytime soon it looks like it's not happening until after august at the earliest.
They are going to add new teams, Photogrammetry. stadiums and a new licensed competition along with gameplay feedback improvements. They are planning to add team and player creator in August as well which could be one of the first steps to the career mode. It will at least allow you to make a custom team.

This is why I am buying the game in September, when all the updates will have been implemented. From my point of view, Rugby 25 will be a success.

Don't be pessimistic

New update is out that adds in Ospreys, Dragons, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Connacht, Bath and Northampton Saints as well as the stadiums for Northamptom, Parma and Toulon. Quite a lot of written patch notes on improvements to gameplay. Will see how much of an improvement it is from the minor updates that have come before this one, but at least moving in a right direction

Release date trailer is out and set to come out on 13th February. From early access still feels like it has a fair way to go, but no idea how much they've been holding back in what has been tested vs what is actually in the final version. Feels like this was the "Has to go out the door" date given the Six Nations and they'll have to continue doing updates as they've done with their other sports games.

Looks like SA and their URC teams won't have proper face scanned teams in which is a big shame. Seems most other nations are well covered. In a leaked PS5 version Ireland was not licensed in the Six Nations, but I suspect that will be fixed in a day one patch, and won't be too difficult to sort out given all of the players are scanned in the URC. Gameplay wise it still feels like a way off. I know there has been no big patch for the last month and a bit, but this feels like its going to be under baked in gameplay (but with very good player and team coverage, plus the ability to download and create custom teams/players)

it seems like there is entire game modes like the rugby world cup that was in the ps5 version but not in early access. It seems like the day one patch might have a lot in it perhaps ireland will be licensed then.
It does seems to cut off early access early to focus on the main launch. A lot of planned features they were wanting to test in early access have been skipped especially the career mode options. I guess we find out feb 13th how much they have been working for the full game instead of doing more early access testing and feedback. The start of early access was not entirely smooth so that may have delayed some of their plans for features and modes to test in early access as they had to dedicate resources to fixing the core game instead of new features.

Feb 13th is a calculated release date for sure in the middle of the six nations and right when super rugby pacific starts so definitely designed to release in a time where lots of people will be watching rugby. With the history bigant has had with recent releases this game is coming in hot and not fully finished for sure. It does though seem like it would have a good amount of content which recent bigant releases have not had at launch. I would say if you want to play on pc get it now because they will up the price at full release so you can save quite a bit of money buying early while it is still in early access.
