Nice variation of 'Big Hits'
thats what i was thinking and umosay that surely means there is a jump button how else wuld he get up there?

apart from the one screenshot with dodgy crowd (which is admittedly closer then the rest) ... i doubt it'll be noticeable whilst ingame, firstly due to the camera angle you choose to play at and secondly, things should actually be moving (the players and ball!) which will probably (I hope) draw everyones attention first and foremost.

the variety in tackle types and the "is it/or is it not" a jump pose (I think it is) really do whet the appetite for this...

I know its wrong, but I am getting a little excited about this game!

and the majority of sites/preview announcements all say it is on schedule (play.com have it for sale at April 1st tho - maybe a clue there!)... could be a good march, tho I'd hope it doesn't hinder St. Paddy's day at all!

im lookin forward to it alright! but just thinking of hardout 12 weeks in basic training without seeing the outside world is gonna be hard i tell ya i wont get to play this game till april noooooo! ahh st paddys day i love the irish they are all sooo...nuts/crazy/mental but more importantly funny

... i presume that is the European cover for the game at this link...

http://easports.co.uk/products.view.asp?id=6273

... also plenty of text to the right-handside, even going as far as to mention GAMEPLAY... amazing!

(talk of a Creation Zone too... no mention of a create team option in it tho)...

cast your eyes to that link immediately!

Yeah, but the Madden historic teams have gone lazy and they're all #1 or #2. Except John Elway's #6 and Terrell Davis is #21. How ****.
Thats because EA werent allowed to include Players who arent currently in the NFL, but with the new deal, starting with Madden 2006 we should have real historic player names with historic uniforms.

yea ive been on this site for like an hour the thing i like the most is the "new" commentators bit

Broadcast Presentation
New camera angles, commentators, and full-motion video, plus authentic crowd noise, in-game sound effects, and enhanced replay control all come together to help produce a game that creates a look and feel of a live TV broadcast. This immerses players in the atmosphere of the game, while seamlessly integrating the commentary into the flow of play.

I would really love it if they included a comp creation and team creation with a kit editor etc.. but i doubt it, theres always hope

Well there's Custom Competitions by the looks of it, nothing on create-a-team yet... Isnt Creation Zone what they use on FIFA 2005? What are the options like on that on creating players and teams?

Rugby 2005 once again brings home official licensed leagues while introducing new leagues and teams. Not only can you play in all of the leagues, but you can now play in prestigious tournaments such as the Heineken/European Cup or in a custom tournament of your own[/b]

notice the line "...official licensed leagues while introducing new leagues and teams." ...

new leagues that is not the Super12 from the previous edition... who could they possibly be?

-> Celtic League/Zurich Premiership????

As they are Canadian, there grasp on the English language is deceptive at best.

Whereas 'New teams' to everyone in the English speaking world means 'New, as in, never before in an EA Rugby video game,' to them, it is 'New teams' as in Rugby 2004 doesn't count, therefore any and every club team used before is actually new in this version.'

Or that technically, any league you create with existing teams is a New League with New Teams.

I doubt Zurich. I doubt NPC. I doubt the American Super League.

But, you never know . . . you never, never know . . .

reading up on FIFA 2005 and it didn't feature a create-a-team section...

...so I guess that pretty much knocks that idea on the head (what chance of it in little ol' rugby game if not in the mighty multi-million selling FIFA!)

however, there is a app called a "Creation Center" being released for FIFA this month (I think) for the PC which allows for a vast majority of editing and creation options to the game... leagues, kits, players, teams... the works, all as a free download

perhaps something like this will be on offer to Rugby 2005 for the PC???

Possible.

But I believe the only pro-creation will be with players. You can have sex with your PS2 and 'BOOM' -- there's Barry John, the King of Cardiff.
