Rugby '15 announced

Hopefully we'll see or hear something in the next few weeks, we're hurtling disturbingly close to the late September launch...

How do ya know it is in September? And did u get an email back? When I ask bigben on twitter about screenshots they just say keep tuned. Sooooooo annoying! Far more interested in this than pro rugby manager.

The initial email I got said late September/early October, and both press releases have listed similar things.

Guys the scottish cannon on YouTube is trying to get everyone to tweet bigben interactive.go to his youtbe channel and click on the link below his latest video if u have twitter.

It's not going to much use, there's probably a reason why bigben and hb are keeping things quiet

Why not wait until they announce something or wait until reviews come in

Everyone! It may not work! But even if bigben interactive give a timeframe for when info will be released, it will be great for everyone to know, instead of guessing, asking and speculating. If you guys what to help and try and get info here is a click to tweet link,

The more the better chance of a more detailed response

I would love to wait but it has been a month since E3 and only 2 months until the game comes out so they need to release information really soon, to meet the deadline of late Sept

agree, I will send the tweet. The game will be released in 2 - 3 months..... come on

I'll tweet them later for details, but Im not hopeful. Im guessing pretty large development issues or maybe unexpected licensing issues are behind the delay, and as such they no longer want to commit to the launch date they gave. It wouldn't be the first time, especially in a brand new franchise.

Tweeting them isn't going to do s**t.
They'll have set times for their press releases, be it actual dates or stages of development.

Tweeting them crying about how they've not released anything isn't going to do jack sh**.

Have to agree with this.

All these fanboy's popping up all of a sudden and littering the forum with this nonsense is just pathetic.

don't be such twits with your tweets!

While en masse tweeting won't do ****, not releasing screenshots this close to the apparent launch, and doing nothing to create hype is a definite way to make your game a flop.
They won't actually release anything because people tweet them, but they could give an indication of when they will.

EDIT: I just saw on the previous page that a dev did give a timeframe for screenshots. That's fair enough so, all I really wanted to know. No point in tweeting them. They are shooting themselves in the foot a bit, but I don't mind. I can't see them sticking to the original release timeframe.

They don't need to release anything, FIFA and football manager haven't really announced much and their games will launch in a similar time frame

Those games, however, already have established fan bases and will have no problem hitting sales targets year on year. A new brand requires intensive marketing to establish itself and to garner sales that are in no way secured already. I think if there has been nothing released before the end of July (even if it is simply a press release outlining more key features and licences) then the developers and distributors will be behind the curve. They have an opportunity to start a strong line of games but poor sales figures from the first game will have a huge impact on this.

There are obviously legal and quality considerations for them before they release anything but I do think drip feeding information into the market is key to building the anticipation and preorders. That seems to be something Sidhe did well - releasing information and screenshots bit by bit.

It's more difficult from bbi, Sidhe already have a good solid engine from rugby league live, harder building a game with no base to work on

Reading this thread is painful. Some of you are being like teenage girls, heartbroken because the girl they fancy won't reply to their text. Just be patient and see what happens.

Some people are just interested in the game mate! I as well as many other people are interested in the timeframe for when it will be released, it has been 2 months since E3 and nothing, if they don't want to tell us that is fine, that is their mistake but people want to know that bigben are listening to the commmunity

Exactly, so if its there marketing technique, it is awful on their part, the other games are established so there is a difference

You are absolutely correct

That is the entire point of tweeting them to get a timeframe not info, there an release when they want, it just when, so we all stop speculating.

We are just wondering when mate, don't care when it is, just want to know, so we all stop asking and speculating

When = when it happens.
Just be patient and wait. This happened with RWC11: absolutely nothing then info started trickling through in the run up till release.

Teenage lesbians are the primary target demographic for Rugby '15. It's so clear, I can't help but feel it's a cynical attempt to cash in on the popularity of Blue is the Warmest Colour.
